Hey everyone! So, since this concept has been in my mind for a while, I decided to make it my first story, so be nice! Also, if you have any suggestions for me about the story or anything, leave them in a review or PM me. & Enjoy! :)
P.S.: If the chapter ends up being too hard to read, I'll delete it and rewrite it at school where I have access to Microsoft Word (we only have Notepad here at home :(

Alexa Marshall stood outside what a very long time ago, she considered to be home. Long before her childhood was clouded with alcoholic "parents" (for lack of a better word) and sibilings that might as well be her children. As she looked up to the sky, she remembered how it all started three years ago.
"Kids, this is Liam." Alexa's mother, Denise slurred. Her infant brother, Drew, and her two year old sister, Shelby, were way to young to realize that their mom had been drinking, and drinking too much. But 13 year old Alexa could notice the way her mother spoke when she was drunk anywhere. Denise had been an alcoholic since Alexa was three years old untill just a few years before Shelby was born. Liam was Denise's new boyfriend, and even though Alexa didn't approve, she knew there was absolutely nothing she could do about it. Liam had started her mom back on the road to addiction.
When Alexa came back to the present, she realized that Shelby pulling at her hoodie sleeve, sobbing, with Drew just a half a foot behind her. "What are they gonna do with us?" Shelby managed to say, even though she was barely audible through her tears. Alexa looked around to see her mom and Liam being forced into a police car by two muscular cops. They were being arrested on drug charges, something Alexa was unfortunately much to familiar with.
Yeah, I know, extremely short and depressing. But don't worry, they next few chapters will start to be happier. And again, if this chapter is too hard to read, I'll delete it and re-write it as soon as possible. Also, remember to review saying if you liked it, hated or, wanna skip through a feild of flowers with it...Um, maybe just if you liked it or not. If you have any suggestions, leave them in a review or PM me. I might need some OC's (for Alexas friends/ enemies in later chapters) but I haven't decided on that yet.
