HeronKai-Okay before any of you question this was an old story made by my old profile. I'm just republishing it on this one cause I have other plans for it. Enjoy ^_^
The sun had fully sunk and he was alone. He woke up his head still groggy. He looked around and noticed his different surroundings.
"Hey Ghost where are we?" he said. He had gotten up and looked around. When she didn't answer back the memory crashed down on him.
"Ghost" he whispered. He clenched his fist and gritted his teeth. Wait for me Ghost. I'm coming He vowed then sprinted through the forest.

Ghost woke up her head pounding. She hit her head on a ceiling and swore silently as her head throbbed again. She was in a dog crate and she felt a pang of fear. She dispelled it instantly and looked around. She was in a white room with bright lights.
"Ah you var avake" a voice said. Ghost looked through the bars of her cage to see a whitecoat standing in front of her. He was big and ugly. "I am Ter Borcht" he said in a thick German accent. "You are 'ere to be studied"
"Well Borchy" Ghost said "I'm not very cooperative." She reached out her hand reaching through the cage. Before her hand had even completely phased through the bars she was shocked violently. She groaned in pain at the experience.
"As you can tell ve know all about your abilities" Ter Borcht said. He walked away locking the door behind him. Ghost was alone again. She wrapped her arms around her knees and began to think hard. About what had happened, where she was, what'd she do to Ter Borcht once she was out of here. But most of all what had happened to Shadow.
"Shadow" Ghost whispered. "Where are you?"

Shadow ran through the woods as if he was himself a shadow. The scene from what happened in the forest kept playing in his mind. "Ghost" he said. "Please be safe"
The forest ended and he came up to a building made of stone. It felt a prison. Shadow knew Ghost was in there and he would find her. He ran from the forest and walked from shadow to shadow to shadow until he was at a wall. He followed the wall and went up to a door.
Someone walked toward the door and he hid. When they came up to it they swiped a card and the door opened. The door closed and Shadow skulked through the building.

Ghost continued to try to phase through the cage but not too much success but a scarred hand. She pushed her hand through and continued to push through ignoring the pain. Her entire body phased through the cage and she lay panting on the ground. She forced herself to her feet and phased through the door.
A guard walked up to her room and noticed the empty cage and was about to sound the alarm when he hit the ground. Ghost formed behind him holding a crowbar. She ran down the long hallways and corridors navigating her way out. She turned the corner and saw a person running from the other side. She dropped the crowbar and ran at him.
She phased into existence and hugging Shadow tightly. Shadow hugged her back burying his face in her hair. "Ghost" he whispered.
"Shadow" she said. They heard footsteps and let each other go. Ghost smiled and grabbed his hand. Shadow smiled as she pulled him through the walls. They made it through all the walls and into the forest. When they had gone far enough they stopped running and hugged each other again.
"Ghost I was so worried about you" Shadow whispered.
"I was worried too" Ghost said. They released each other and looked back in the direction of the school.
"So what now Ghost?" Shadow asked.
"We leave" Ghost said.
"They know where we live so we can't go back" Shadow said.
"As long as we're together, we are home" Ghost said echoing Max's words thousands of miles away.
