Next Day: 3:55 pm. Dressing room of high school.

Veronica Mars was looking at herself in the mirror. Perfect. She thought. Veronica was wearing a plain whit cocktail length dress with white heels. She had her hair half up and half down.

On the other hand, Duncan walked into the auditorium to a packed crowd. He didn't think anything of it so he just sat down in a chair. Then he heard the sound of a microphone and turned his attention to the front stage.

Madison Sinclair: Okay everybody. It's time to begin the Neptune High Annual Talent Show! You know our first talented performer because of her cunning wit and because she solved her best friend's murder. Give it up for Veronica Mars!

Veronica walks onto the stage.
