A/N: Ah, well this is for Wolf Fang's birfday. I hope you like it chicalita. I made Riku gay just for you. Bit a Soriku.
King for a day, princess by dawn.
Just wait 'til all the guys get a load of me.
My daddy threw me in therapy.
He thinks I'm not a real man.

Don't knock it until you tried it – King for a Day by Green Day
He never told anyone he liked to dress up, especially like a girl. He knew they wouldn't accept him, since he was gay. So everyday he would wear all the stuff every other kid his age that wasn't gay wore. What all the "cool" kids wore. Tank-tops and baggy shorts that were practically like pants.
But at night, while he was alone, he would dress up in his mom's dresses and pretend he was a girl. They would never know his dirty little secret, because he was a great actor (or actress, whichever you prefer). He knew how to make all the girls swoon. Light brushes here, feather touches there and they would melt. He was great at being something he wasn't. And still be able to be himself.
Lipstick, blush, mascara, eye shadow, eyeliner, dress, heels, nails; he did it all. He was perfect in both worlds. His secret was to be forever kept inside; they would reject him if they knew. In society today, you're either straight or you're a freak. And he could never, would never, be a "FREAK." It just wasn't possible. He was charming, good looking, everything a girl could ask for.
Except the fact he liked men.
He hadn't accepted himself at first either, for weeks he denied the fact he was different. But slowly he began to realize that it was true and he would just have to deal with it. When he was in the locker room he did his best not to stare, and when a buddy of his put his arm around him he hid his excitement. He no longer took part in making fun of the brunette kid Sora they teased all the time since they knew he was gay. He was aware of exactly how hard it was. And that's why he told Sora.
He was now standing in front of the mirror staring at his reflection. Seeing half the normal guy he wished he was, and the guy he really was. The one with the make-up, the one with the girly clothes. "Oh damn…" He murmured.
There was a knock at his door and he knew it was Sora, blinking his long lashes once he bit his lip. "Here goes nothing." Running a hand through his hair he quietly made his way down the stairs and opened the door. Putting on a smirk when he saw Sora eye him he winked. "Ready to go?"
The brown haired boy nodded, "Y-yeah."
He nodded and walked out the door, shutting it behind him. They walked out to Sora's car together and he took one last glance behind him. After tonight, all he had tried to keep hidden would emerge. And he was okay with that, he was a king by day, and princess by dawn.
A/N: Wow…I know you hate it. This is horrible! AHH! I AM SO SORRY WOLFIE! PLEASE FORGIVE ME! But happy b-day anyway…
