Disclaimer: I don't own Hannah Montana nor its characters, if I did I would be a lot happier. LOL. This is my first HM fic so I hope everyone enjoys.

She sighed as she ran her hands through her long Blonde hair and stared at the scene in front of her. The clear blue sky was turning dark as the sun slowly dipped into the ocean, it was such a beautiful sight. She had always loved the ocean. The calmness in the air, the breeze it felt wonderful and she shared it with her best friend Miley.

When she was little she always heard her grand mother say that if you loved someone you were supposed to let them go, and if they loved you they would return back to you. She had let her best friend go in hopes that she would return to her one day, but life always had to deal her a cruel hand.

She let out a shaky breath and just stared hypnotized by the ocean, it was moments like these she could still feel her there, right beside her. She could sense her near, the air around her tickling her face and if she closed her eyes she could see her. It was moments like these that made her worthless life seem worth it.

When she had befriended the brunette girl years ago she had no idea she was going to meet the girl who would change her life. She remembered the day she met Miley as if it had happened yesterday. She was beautiful with her long dark brown hair and big blue eyes that could just melt your heart with one glance. Her eyes were that smoldering in fact there was just this spark of life in the air when she was near.

She was thinking about her more and more lately. Her smile, her laugh and the way she always had something up her sleeve. How she managed to always get her involved, she had an amazing heart. Even if things didn't always go the way she wanted them, her intentions were in the right place.

With each thought of the brunette girl her heart would ache. She yearned for her, for her to be her's. To be able to take her in her arms, to let her lips capture her's. Those were her dreams at night and it killed her to know that those dreams would never be fullfilled so she would wait and she would have to deal with just being her friend.

Rain started to fall down from the sky, it hardly ever rained here and she liked it that way but there was something calming about the rain. It was getting cooler and she shivered as she watched the drops of rain fall to the ground. Miley would have thought to have brought a towel with her. It was pointless everywhere she went she thought of her. Maybe it was because Miley was a part of her. She understood her in a way no one else would. She would look me in the eyes and I would find a tiny flecker of hope and peace and mostly love.

Looking into the other girls eyes, it felt like being home and she never felt that way about anyone else, not even Oliver. "Home" she whispered as a smile crept its way onto her beautiful face, she liked the sound of that.

Miley was her best friend, the one girl she loved and couldn't live without, she was like coming home.
