He heard a sound, giggling, from where he stood. With a curious glance thrown every which way, he detected nothing. There was no one around amongst the warehouses at the moment. His feet had taken him here without purpose, and yet he couldn't have felt more drawn to this place.
Steeling himself, he crept cautiously around the corner. There, sitting on an oil drum, was a child, around 9 or 10 years old, swinging he legs merrily, his gold haired head bobbing along, as if he could hear a tune that no one else could.
Drawn closer still, the child spotted him, gold eye darting to fix with his own. Slowly but surely, a chesire grin crept its way onto the boy's face. Without any hesitation, he brought forth a bottle, a wine bottle from it shape, yet this glass was clear, so that what it contained could be seen by the whole world. It's golden content sloshed to and fro in it's glass prison.
"Want a sip?" The boy giggled, holding out the bottle.
To this day, he regretted not saying no.

Here is just a quick drabble about a certain character of mine meeting another that has yet to come into the story. I just wanted to get his personality down before I went ahead and wrote anything official.
To those who are graciously waiting for an update, please wait a small while longer. I got finals this week, but after that I'm free as a bird. Well… until I start to try to find a job that is. Which means I'll have to release all those happy vibes somehow, and what I mean by somehow is by writing.
Thanks for your patience.
