Author's notes: well it has surely been a while since I wrote! This is based on Eli's mental disorder! Just a short oneshot. Trying to get back into writing!
Dealing with a problem that does not go away, no matter how much medicine you take for it, causes a dent in a person's life after some time spent suffering. No one wants to be diagnosed with a mental disorder and termed "crazy" by society. As humans, we all seek comfort, and comfort makes no exception for Eli Goldsworthy.
On the outside Goldsworthy may seem like every other high school Goth; however, when you begin to look deeper, it is clear that there is more. Underneath the surface lies a human being, who just wants to find his place. Finding purpose is difficult when internal forces prevent you from getting the most.
Bipolar disorder and the mania that comes with it affect his every day life. Sometimes he can not sleep for days. For a short period of time, he may feel great and on top of the world, but there is always a crash, and like any other type of crash, it hurts. The medicine he takes makes it easier; but, the problem will never go away.
