Husky Has Issues

Husky's POV

We arrived at another town, next to Moss Mountain. It was small, but it had a lot of business. It had bustling streets, busy markets, but not many people, despite the business of everything.

Me, Cooro, Nana and Senri were walking around in town and my eye drifted to a store window. It sold jewelry. I firmly shook my head and continued to walk.

"Husky, why the serious face?" Cooro asked.

"Nothing," I mumbled, glancing back at the store.

"If you want to buy something, you should just say!" Nana said, smiling.

I blushed. "It's nothing; drop it."

"Ok, ok, Mr. Bossy," Nana teased.

I checked my wallet, which currently held only 15 Gillah for all of us. "I think we should get jobs; we're running out of money."

Cooro said, "Really?" I showed him the wallet. "Oh, wow, it is."

"Let's split up and meet here is a few hours with jobs," Nana said.

"Fine with me." I said, walking off in the opposite direction.

I got a job at cleaning the sheds of some person. I was a good person, so I waited for my friends at the meeting point.

I waited a few minutes, passing the time by looking at some jewelry at a nearby shop.

Nana caught me looking at the jewels so she made fun of me. I sent a retort back at her.

She sighed. "So what job did you get?"

"Cleaning a shed. You?"

"Babysitting a couple's kid for a few days. Hey, have you seen Cooro or Senri?"

"No, why?" I asked.

"They don't seem to be around."

"Ah," I saw Cooro and Senri walking towards them so I pointed them out to Nana.

"I'm sorry, we're late!" Cooro called as he walked towards us. "Senri and I forgot the meeting point."

"…" Senri said.

I hit Cooro with my staff. "You need to pay attention to your surrounding!"

"Oww, Husky…" Cooro whined.

"Let's find a hotel to sleep in," Nana said.

"I told you, we have no money." I sighed.

"Oh yeah, I forgot." Cooro chuckled, rubbing the back of his head, which I hit again.

"Aww, that means we have to camp outside AGAIN." Nana groaned.

"Be happy that Senri can cook, and I can hunt." I sighed, placing my hands on my hips.

::~~::~Normal POV~::~~::

Cooro, Senri, and Nana were up when Husky lifted his head from the moist ground.

"Finally, sleepy head!" Nana scolded. "You been asleep for hours!"

"Huh?" Husky rubbed his eyes. "Is that why I'm so sleepy?"

"You won't be sleepy once you get into that pond and catch us some breakfast."

"Why didn't you wake me up earlier if you're so hungry?" Husky asked, stripping off his extra layer of clothes.

"We couldn't wake you if the loudest sound was blasted in your ears." Cooro joked.

"Shut up, I'm not usually like that; I'm quite a light sleeper." Husky jumped into the pond and then surfaced before taking his +anima form. "Hey guys, there some sparkly stuff at the bottom of the pond, should I fish it out?"

"Sure," Nana said, steeping closer to investigate.

"Yeah!" was Cooro's response.

Senri slunk over.

Husky dived underwater and gasped: there, right under him, were the largest, shiniest jewels he'd ever seen. "Oh my god!" he said, causing bubbles to float to the surface.

"Look!" Cooro pointed towards the bubbles. "Maybe he's coming up soon with the sparkly stuff."

Husky soon surfaced and sighed. "It was just my imagination, guys. Sorry."

"Aww," Nana pouted.

"I'm going to go catch the fish…" Husky said, sinking back into the water.

Husky, secretly fished up the jewels and stuffed them in his clothes pocket. And continued to fish.

::~~::~MEANWHILE, IN TOWN~::~~::

"Help, help! Some robbed my jewelry shop!"

Teddie: thus, Husky is no longer a fish, but is a dragon.

Husky: WTC?! You just made me seem like a klepto!

Teddie: that is why you have issues.

Husky: hey!

Teddie: please read and review!
