CRACK!
Sora shot up in his bed at the sound of the loud clap of thunder. His eyes were wide with fear while his body was trembling uncontrollably. He gathered up the blankets in front of him and held them against himself. He inhaled deeply, trying to calm himself down.
'1…2…3…4…' He thought. Counting in his mind seemed to calm the brunette down at times.
There was another loud clap of thunder that caused him to jump again. He whimpered slightly as he clenched his eyes closed as tightly as possible.
He climbed out of bed & walked towards the door of his room that led to the long, narrow hallway. He wanted to be with someone. He hoped that Riku would be willing to let him sleep with him.
'Why wouldn't he, though?' He thought to himself. 'He loves me, so he shouldn't mind…'
He opened the door and walked down the dark hallway which was ornate with large pictures. He reached the door to Riku's room and turned the knob slowly to open the door.

CREAK…
Riku's eyes shot open as he heard something applying pressure to the floorboard outside of his room. He sat up and looked at his door to notice the knob turning slightly.
The door opened to reveal the figure of the small brunette that was his boyfriend. He was carrying a small silver bear with aqua-green eyes. He noticed that the boy was trembling uncontrollably.
"Riku…" He whimpered as he walked slowly over to the silverette.
"Sora…What's wrong?" He asked him, his eyes full of concern for his boyfriend.
As if to answer his question, there was a flash of lightning followed quickly by another clap of thunder that shook the house.
Sora jumped on him and wrapped his arms tightly around Riku's body. Riku smiled softly and returned the embrace.
'So, that's what it was…'
"R-Riku…Can I sleep with you tonight?" Sora asked him as his ocean-blue eyes filled with tears that were threatening to spill over.
Riku leaned over and licked the tears away.
"Of course you can…" He whispered as he rubbed his cheek against Sora's lightly. "You can sleep with me every night if you want to…"
Riku pulled the covers over both of them and wrapped his arms around the lithe body beside him.
"I love you, Sora."
The brunette boy looked up at him and smiled. He brought his lips to Riku's.
"I love you, too, Riku…"
