Hair, or Not
Jackie and Jill sat on the couch holding one baby apiece.
Nick sat next to them, he had offered to take Boone from his mother but as usual she refused to give him up.
Nick and Jackie jokingly called her the baby hog because once she had one of them in her arms she'd happily hold it for hours on end. They gave Jill a hard time about it but they were thrilled and very grateful she was such a huge help, and not only that but the other kids loved having her there.
The other kids were having what looked to be a dancing contest in the middle of the living room floor.
The adults were laughing at their antics.
"Mommy?" Jasmine asked as she took a break from her dancing and came up next to Jackie.
"What sweetie?" Jackie asked.
"How come this baby has hair and this baby has none?" She asked curiously as she looked back and forth at the two babies.
"I don't know sweetheart, some babies have hair and some don't." Jackie explained, not knowing what else to tell her.
"Do I?" Jasmine asked.
"Yeah, you have long, pretty hair." Jackie told her.
"No mommy, when I was a baby?" Jasmine said sounding somewhat exasperated.
"Oh, yes, you had hair when you were a baby."
"Like baby Ryan?"
"You had probably even a little bit more hair then baby Ryan."
Jasmine beamed at that, for some reason unknown to Jackie that made the child very happy.
Jasmine then very lovingly kissed both babies on their heads and then rejoined her other siblings dancing in the middle of the floor.
As Jackie watched them she chuckled, her kids were such goofballs and they were so very entertaining!
