Allow me a moment to tell you the day my world came crashing down, last Tuesday.
I was sitting in my final class of the day, science, and was very interested in the subject of marine sciences. As soon as the bell rang most kids were gone but I lingered before walking down to the park to do homework and wait for my mom to pick me up. What actually happened was far from it.
Around 10 minutes after I sat on the bench my mom called saying that I would have to walk home because she was running late. I walked home soon after noticing a slight chill in the air. When I got home I quickly made hot chocolate and put on Nemo before a quiet noise made me realize I wasn't alone...
