Hades and the demigod, Daniel, sat in the throne room of the underworld. They were surrounded by trees of silver, their leaves and fruit of Eros were pure gold. Hades himself sat on a throne of obsidian and bone. There was also a silver throne next to his, but it belonged to no one. The walls were decorated with pictures of The Grim Reaper and nasty scenes of painful deaths. Hades watched Daniel, his son, as he played poker against Al Capone and Houdini. As he accidentally cut off Houdini's head with his Celestial Stygian Bronze sword and made Al Capone get a bit uncomfortable, Daniel spoke of Hade's plan to steal Persephone, daughter of Demeter. This is the lady for whom the silver throne would belong. The stalactites glistened and the Styx and Lethe roared in the distance at the clever but simple plan to do so.
"Dad, you should not go along with your plan. The Olympians will stop you," So Hades said in reply, "I need a wife, little demigod. I know that is the only way I can keep my power over the wild spirits. I say to you, this will be a victory for the House of Hades!" And Daniel, eying his black and bronze blade that was once pure celestial bronze, but cooled in the River Styx, said "Then do as I say. If you do catch her, trick her into eating pomegranate seeds of the netherworld. Why? Thought Hades. What reason would there be in doing so?Seeing his father in this state of confusion, said "This will make her unable to leave this place. But keep me with you when you do it, for I can drive the Chariot of Damnation." And so out of the ground sprang a chariot of silver and etched gold. It was pulled by flaming nightmare horses. And once they were in, the horses bolted into the world of the living.
Persephone and her friends Pallas (not yet deceased), Athena, Triton, and her mother, the goddess Demeter. They were having a great time in the Garden of the Gods. They all looked at what Persephone (as the goddess of flowers) had made. When they (not including Persephone) all left, Persephone was alone, waiting for her good friend Artemis. As she waited, the shadows darkened.
The warm night and orchard became cold, and the flower petals came off and swirled around her. The Chariot of Damnation whisked by and Hades grabbed her. Daniel drew his sword and leaped out of the chariot. The chariot, now carrying two gods, bustled about into the underworld.
All in sudden movement, a hunting horn called and the Hunters of Artemis shot arrows from the orchard. And Daniel charged them. As he used his "arc of destruction", he accidentally cut a lemon and smashed some strawberries. This became the first lemonade and strawberry smoothie
Later, Demeter complained to Zeus because Hades did Daniel's trick, so he made Persephone stay in the underworld six months. In these months (winter) Demeter, in her grief, does not let plants grow. For the rest, Persephone is with Demeter and let's summer come to the Earth to make plants grow. Thus giving summer and winter to the Earth.
