AN: Here is something a little different. Its a short little drabble. It just popped into my head one day.
If you want me to continue, just say so.
I could feel it.
It was sucking me in.
Into a world of the unknown.
Where creatures you only see in your nighmares roam.
It was a quite frightening place.
Then again, it was quiet and peaceful; a little too quiet.
I could hear the monsters lurking beyond brambles and bushes.
It felt like a very strange nightmare; one that I could not escape.
"Hello?"
There was silence again. Not one twig or leaf was heard.
It made me feel somewhat melancholly. As if it could control my emotions...
Click. Snap. Scream..
I turn my head toward the scene of the disturbance. I see nothing.
I walk farther into the woods. Walking carefully to make sure I do not disturb anything.
I stop a few moments later. I see something that caught my eye. Something I did not notice before.
I look up.
Up there in a tree was a woman.
A woman that looked dead.
She was wearing a plain white dress. She had long, flowing, black hair with skin almost as white as her dress.
She was not sitting the tree. She was hanging from it.
With her eyes wide open.
Another click and a snap.
I hear a voice from behind me. I turn around.
" Welcome to the place of wonder of fright."
I hear another scream.
A scream that came out of my own mouth......
