Lavender Kiss

A/N: My first fluff fict. I do hope it's fluffy enough. I got the idea after watching the Lavender series. It's a Taiwanese show. Anyway, enjoy reading it. Thanks Strayc@t for pointing out the mistake. I've corrected it.

"Ron," Hermione said, holding tightly to his hand. "Where are you taking me?"

"You'll know soon enough." Ron smiled.

They stopped in front of a violet gate with a little heart shaped lock in the middle. Ron took out a key from his pocket and fitted it into the heart shaped lock. When he had unlocked it, he opened the gate and then went back to get Hermione. Hermione looked so beautiful in muggle clothing and her hair shone under the warm sunlight. He took her warm, soft hand and led her into the field.

"I'm going to take the blindfold off but don't open your eyes until I tell you to," Ron instructed.

"Okay," she replied, smiling.

Ron took the blindfold off and pocketed it.

"Sit down," he said, helping her.

When she did, he sat behind her and slipped his arms around her.

"Open your eyes," Ron said.

Hermione gasped when she saw the endless plains of purple. The whole field was covered with purple grass.

"Ron.." She whispered. "It's so beautiful."

"Not as beautiful as you," Ron said, kissing her cheek softly.

"I've never seen purple grass before," she said, picking up a tiny blade of grass.

"It's not grass," Ron said. "It's a flower. It's called Lavender."

"Lavender," she repeated. "I never knew it was a flower."

"I guess a genius doesn't know everything," he teased.

Hermione smiled and playfully whacked him on the arm.

"You know, Hermione," he said. "Lavender means waiting for love. I've been searching and waiting for love all my life but now, my search is over."

"Oh,Ron." Hermione whispered.

Ron bent down and kissed her head.

"Can we go for a walk?" she asked.

"Sure," he said, getting up. Then he extended his hand and helped her get up.

"I got a better idea," he said. "Why don't I give you a piggy-back ride?"

"You've done enough already," Hermione said. "I'm really heavy. I'm going to break your back!"

"Don't worry about it," he ginned.

Then he squatted and waiting for Hermione to get on.

"You're light," he said, holding her legs tightly. "Hang on tight!"

Suddenly, he ran. Hermione screamed in surprise and then they both started laughing. After awhile, he got tired. Ron collapsed onto the Lavender with Hermione on his back. Both of them laughed. Ron moved and Hermione fell off his back and landed right next to him. Ron stared into her deep, chocolate eyes. Slowly, he inched closer to her and soon their lips met. They kissed softly and Ron wrapped his arms round her.

"You're everything to me," Ron whispered. "I love you."
