Hey, guys! XxVallirenxX here with the scythe of death! Heh, sorry. Spent too much time writing horror fanfics. Anyways, I am currently addicted to Yuri! On Ice and keep rewatching it, and rewatching it, and rewatching it. I absolutely loved the pair skating scene in episode 12, and so now I have decided to write a different version of it with, can you guess who? Otabek and Yurio! Anyways, have a pair skating fanfic for all you crazy Otayuri shippers like me.
"Ready?" Otabek asked as he reached for the remote to turn on the music.
Yuri nodded, taking his place on the ice. Otabek pushed the button and On Love: Agape began to play.
The first strands of the music began to play as Yuri softly glided across the ice, Otabek sliding to meet him as they joined hands. He spun Yuri around, Yuri turning to grip one arm as they continued to dance, skates scraping against the hard ice. He leaned against him as they leaned down across from each other, spinning at a speed that would make anyone else fall over, hands remains tightly interlocked.
They moved apart slowly as if dragged apart, hands separating before each of them went into a step sequence, then moving towards each other with a feel of liberation.
Yuuri and Viktor walked down the halls of the practicing rink, heading towards the ice. They were surprised to hear strands of Agape playing from the rink, but they pushed the door open, expecting to see Yuri practicing by himself. What they saw instead shocked them.
The music reached its swell as Yuri spun into Otabek's arms, Otabek lifting Yuri over his head, Yuri with one hand on Otabek's, the other gripping his skate-covered foot lifted into the air, his other leg pointed downwards, the two gliding across the ice before Otabek tossed him in the air, Yuri spinning in midair before landing on one leg.
They skated once around the rink with hands joined before Yuri turning around, arms intertwining with Otabek's as he leaned against him, the final strands of the music playing.
The two turned towards the exit of the rink as the music ended, to be greeted with the shocked faces of Viktor and Yuuri. Viktor fell forward as they walked past, Yuuri just clapping them on the back with a smile.
Yuri turned to Otabek. "Those were… interesting reactions."
"Well, kitten, we are better than them."
"'Beka! I told you not to call me kitten!"
Otabek smiled a rare smile and laughed before kissing Yuri on the forehead. "That won't stop me."
Wow, that was so fluffy you could call it a cloud. The spinning in the air move and the lifting part was inspired by the performance of (spellcheck is gonna hate these names): Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov. You should watch some of their performances, they are amazing! Anyways, for anyone who says Otayuri isn't right, the only thing straight about Yuri is his splits. Seriously.
