"I'm guilty."

'Guilty of what?' Arthur wanted to sarcastically comment, but he bit the inside of his cheek before the words left his mouth. It wasn't everyday local town, Alfred F. Jones, self-proclaimed superhero, came by the police station like that. Scratch that, he always came by the police station, if not putting the 'villains' behind bars, just to annoy Arthur. But it was different this time– it was the first time Alfred came by to say something like that, about committing a crime no less.

Somehow he feels this is one of Alfred's ridiculous jokes and counted to ten before asking in a deadpan voice, "What are you guilty for."

This seems to spur Alfred into a ramble, which made Arthur think less of it as a joke and more of a serious matter. (As serious as it can get with a guy like Alfred.)

"I didn't mean to! It just happened unexpectedly and I really tried to stop myself you know? But I can't help it!"

"Sure--"

"And it was like, bam! It happened so suddenly, and I just felt so confused because I never thought it would happen to someone as awesome as me--"

"Stop thinking yourself as a hero, git--"

"I didn't know what to do anymore--"

"Your point--"

"So I came here. To tell you, I'm guilty." Alfred finished, bowing down his head in shame.

Arthur rubbed his temples to soothe his headache that he gets whenever he has to deal with the other blonde. "So, what exactly are you guilty for."

"Well... I...." And here all words were incomprehensible as Alfred started to mumble.

Arthur just rolled his eyes and stood up from where he was sitting, and told Alfred, "Well, if you're guilty for doing a crime, then we might as well put you in bars."

Alfred complied, even allowed Arthur to handcuff him and lead him to a cell. Alfred mumbled something like, "heroes don't do crimes" but Arthur paid no heed and proceeded to lock him up. Just as he turned around and ready to leave, the other blonde called to him, "Iggy, wait!"

Arthur turned around once more to see Alfred's face looking straight at him. Alfred's cheeks were blushing, and he stepped closer to the bars.

Suddenly, Arthur finds himself pressed against the bars— when the hell did Alfred break the handcuffs into two— and pressed their lips together.

When Alfred finally let go, he said:

"I'm guilty... for loving you."
