Hi guys! This is my first story so please, PLEASE, be nice to me. I am fully aware of my horrible writing skills and I'm trying to improve at it.

Note: I'm actually in the process of editing this story as a whole so... there are things that may be inconsistent with the later chapters.

Another thing: Green is the guy. Blue is the girl.

Disclaimer: We all know that I don't own Pokespe, and the picture.

Crystal groaned as she sat up from the floor. She looked at her left and right, only to find darkness. In fact, she was surrounded by it. The only light was focused on her, and only her.

"Hello?" she called out. "Is anyone here?" she asked, but was met with silence.

She finally stood up from her position and started to walk forward, hoping to find the end of this place. Her hands instinctively went to her waist where her Pokeballs are, but found nothing.

Her heart started to beat fast after learning that her Pokemon weren't with her. Her friends, her companions, her only form of comfort are gone. Her hands started to sweat which she rubbed to her skirt to make it dry. Despite her nervousness, she continued to walk until she heard a splash. She had stepped on something.

Crystal looked on the floor and saw the color red. Red. Red liquid.

Blood.

Crystal suddenly screamed when the red liquid started to surround her. She started to run back where she came from only to bump into something and fall to the floor. She looked up to see what she had bumped into until she saw those familiar amber eyes.

"…Gold?"

Despite her calling his name, the boy did not respond and instead, just looked at her, his eyes unusually dull.

Crystal finally calmed down after seeing someone who she knew and was about to stand up when Gold suddenly grabbed her by the shoulder, forcing her to stay in her position. His grip was hard and it was hurting her, but she kept her mouth shut. She noticed that Gold was mumbling something, and the grip was getting tighter and tighter.

"Gold?" she cringed from the pain. A hiss came out from her mouth as his nails dug deeper into her shoulders. "Gold, it… hurts," she cried out but the boy didn't even move. She strained her ears to hear what Gold was saying.

"Traitor. Traitor. Traitor. Traitor. Traitortraitortraitotraitortraitortraitor-"

Her heart stopped.

Then Gold suddenly laughed, scaring her. It wasn't the laugh that she was used to. This was different. This wasn't the laugh when you find something funny.

This was the kind of laugh when you're going insane.

"I can't believe it," the boy started, his voice hoarse. "I can't believe that you managed to fool all of us. I can't believe it. At all. Well, I guess it's normal for you. You're probably used to it."

"You're part of Team Rocket after all."

Then suddenly, her surroundings became brighter, blinding her eyes for a little bit. After her eyes had adjusted, her heart stopped in her throat and she just wanted to throw up right then and there.

Her friends, lying on the floor, in the pool of blood. Probably their blood. Definitely their blood.

Gold was still giggling while she just stared at the corpses of her friends.

"I'm the only one left, Crystal. Just kill me, and then… MISSION COMPLETE!" Gold's laugh became louder, echoing throughout the place. "C'mon. I know you can do it. You've done it a million times before."

"No…" She grabbed the arms of the boy, trying to get away from his grip, with little to no success.

"What? Guilty all of a sudden?"

"No! Let… go!" Crystal finally managed to get his hands off her and sprinted away but he suddenly grabbed her ankles, making her trip.

When she looked back to Gold, he wasn't there, and no one was holding her ankle anymore. She sighed loudly and composed herself when suddenly, Gold appeared in front of her, covered in blood, calling her name.

"Crystal."

Crystal suddenly sat up, sweat covering her forehead, her eyes full of tears. She looked around her dorm room, only to find nothing out of the ordinary. Her Pokeballs were still on her study table, the night light was on, and there were no bruises on her body. She calmed herself down by breathing deeply, and wiped away her eyes, perhaps a little to furiously. She looked at her clock. 4 AM.

She fell back on her bed and tried to go back to sleep. She still needs to wake up at 7 to get ready for school. She hoped that the nightmare wouldn't haunt her again.

"Are you okay, Crystal?"

"I'm okay, Blue."

"Are you sure?" the brunette asked again.

"Yes. I just didn't get enough sleep." Crystal said, reassuring the girl.

"Nightmares?" Yellow, their blond companion, asked.

Crystal paused for a second and shook her head. "Homeworks."

The two just nodded as they went toward Crystal's classroom.

"Well, we'll see you later at lunch, Crystal!" Blue said, as she skipped away happily towards her classroom. Yellow just smiled and waved at her as she chased after Blue as fast as she can.

Crystal looked at the inside of her classroom and saw Gold roughhousing Ruby, with Sapphire laughing at them, but mostly at Ruby. Emerald just sat on one of the tables, looking at the three with disinterest.

"Hey Ms. Crystal!" a voice from the hallway called out to her, but as she turned around, the person ran past her, dragging a boy by his arms. "C'mon Dia! We have no time to lose! I still need to see Platinum's assignment and make sure that I have the right answers!"

"But… what about breakfast, Pearl~?"

"You're always eating anyway. What's the difference?"

Crystal smiled at the duo, before looking outside and seeing Red and Green walking towards in school. The two were in a discussion that was probably related to battling and strategy.

Crystal then suddenly remembered her nightmares and thought for herself before going inside the classroom and greeting the group.

No one knows. No one will ever know.

She was done with that kind of life.

There was no turning back.

And no one will force her to go back.

There you have it. Congratulations for surviving this chapter!
