Reality
The wind whistles past
And feet tread forward
The moon illuminates the sky
People sigh and people moan
As we trek into the unknown
The sun blisters down
Dehydration claws at our throats
A mirage flashes here
And there
A clear blue stream
A grass, oh so green
But it was only for a second
Because we live in reality
Reality flashes here
And there
The humming of the sky
And loved ones saying "Goodbye"
