This is my first attempt at a fanfic. Still trying to figure out how to upload everything. I do not own anything except OCs. Enjoy
It was cool calm night. The moon was full and you could see the stars shine brightly in the velvet sky. Sitting on the edge of a cliff was a girl. Well...woman. She had long tan legs that dangled off the side as she lazily swung them back and forth. A gentle breeze softly blew caressing this woman's cheek as she gazed into the sky. She smiled enjoying the breeze and counting the stars. Her smile was radiant and only intensified her beauty.
Hearing rustling behind her, she looked to see a man in cutoffs walking bare-footed coming out of the forest towards her. The man was tall and had a body of a god. He was tanned and in the moonlight looked appealing. She smiled, "Hey stranger what are you doing on this side?". The man sat down beside her smiling, "Needed to get away, I missed you." He said grabbing her hand and holding it as they looked at the moon. As the man watched her, the moon reflected off her short black hair giving it this shine that almost looked like the waves in the sea. He leaned closer to the woman, breathing in her scent, almost as if it calmed him. The woman giggled, "Jake, you know you shouldn't be here...with me." she said looking down at the sea, her face now, changing from a smile to a frown that showed worry and concern.
The man, Jake, lifted her chin and gazed into the woman's eyes, "I want to be here, with you. You know I love you." The woman tried to shake the man's hand off her chin. "No Jake, you have someone. Someone that's guaranteed to love you back. I'm still waiting for my happily ever after." She said. Feeling the tears build, she looked up into the sky, silently praying that she could finally be happy like her pack brothers were.
Wiping her eyes with the back of her hand, she plastered on a face smile. "Come on Jake let's get you back home to Nessie." The woman got up dusting the dirt off her shorts. She offered her hand to Jake, helping him stand. As Jake stood up, he pulled the woman into his arms. "Jake what are you doing?" She said startled by his actions. Jake held her tight as to keep her from running away. He lifted his hand to her cheek running his thumb down her lips. The woman took a sharp intake as she looked into Jake's eyes. He looked at her face. memorizing the shape of her eyes, the shape of her nose the way her lips looked kissable to him. As he looked at her, he leaned into her, afraid that she would pull away but also hoping she would lean too. He closed his eyes and kissed her. His hand moved from her cheek to her hair, his other hand holding her hip to keep her steady. She gasped at the contact and brought her hands to rest on Jake's chest. She slowly moved them to the back of his neck pulling him closer, deeper into the kiss. The two newly acquainted lovers looked perfect as they kissed each other with passion and need under the full moon.
A little far off into the forest sitting on a tree branch was a man. He was pale and sparkled whenever the moonlight hit him just right. From his vantage point he could see and smell the two lovers without being spotted. As he watched the two kiss he felt this sickening feeling in his gut. He balled his fist as he glared at the two. As he jumped from the tree he ran away from them anger building up in his chest as he destroyed a tree that he ran past, his only thoughts on the woman and how said woman was stolen from him. His only thoughts on his...Leah.
