Ranger Smith had not seen a bear come by after all these years. The ranger thought that nobody would come and change his mood, not knowing a smarter than an average bear noticing the sadness that he's got.
Yogi didn't know much about his life, since he first started going to the park as a little cub. What he did know that it wasn't great for Ranger Smith to be sad about something.
"Cindy?" Yogi asked his girl. "Why is the ranger so sad?"
"Huh?" Cindy looked disinterestedly at her boyfriend bear.
"Yogi said that the ranger's been sad, Cindy. He doesn't know why he's that way!" said Boo Boo.
"Oh, he misses Jellystone Park." Cindy replied nonchalantly.
"Jellystone Park. Isn't that like where they sell jelly that's been turned to Stone?" Boo Boo said, puzzled.
"No, Boo Boo. Jellystone Park was one of the national parks located somewhere in the western US." Cindy said.
"Oh." Yogi replied.
"It was occasionally at risk of being shut down for lack of funding, while the park was typically teeming with visitors." Cindy trailed off.
"Excuse me, I've gotta get goin' now. You've gotta go to Ranger, Yogi and Boo Boo. Ranger's known Jellystone much longer than I have, and from what you said has been making him feel much worse."
"Gosh, what about you, Cindy?" Yogi asked.
"Don't worry 'bout me, I need a moment alone." Cindy said, in the tip of her hat.
The two bears spotted Ranger Smith, sitting in his office. The ranger was wrapping his hands around his head, crying.
"Ranger?" Yogi said as he sat near the ranger.
"What do you want, you bears?" Ranger Smith said, dully.
"I know you miss Jellystone Park..."
"Jellystone Park was closed years ago. I've went there since I was a little boy. Seeing all these giant bears makes me want to hug them tight. It was just so sweet, and now it's gone." Ranger smiled fondly at the memories he had.
"You got us, Ranger Smith. You got me, Boo Boo, Cindy, and the other rangers." Yogi said, as he hugged Ranger Smith.
Ranger Smith began laughing.
"Oh, Yogi..."
Ranger pulled Yogi into a tighter hug.
"Thanks for being with me bears. You don't know how much love I've got in my heart with you two bears making me happy."
