"Len! They're here! RUN!"
The young blond boy nodded dumbly and began running through the back gate. However, a loud crack behind him stopped him in his tracks.
All he saw when he turned was a window stained red. His fear was confirmed by the second gunshot and the proceeding blood that seeped from under the door.
"Mom! Dad! No…" he whispered, vision being blurred by tears.
He did not run or even attempt to resist his captors. Len only barely noticed as he was led to a truck. The only thing he saw with his obscured vision before he blacked out was 3 men with burning torches and his burning home…
