She held onto him for dear life as they ran through the forest together, slicing off the heads of passing walkers, just hoping to survive.

It seemed like all they were doing lately, trying to survive, seeing if they possessed the luck to make it to the next day. The way they lived was disgusting and short, never knowing when or where their fate would lie, but as long as they held on to each other they would feel safe, or at least it appeared to be that way.

They reached the walls of the prison just in time before the walkers began swarming them.

They both panted before finding safety inside the prison walls as Carol opened up the gate, letting the couple in.

Before asking about their findings, Carol spoke up, "What in the hell happened out there? You two okay?"

Maggie drew in a breath before answering, "We lost out car, got overrun by walkers before we could reach the next town over." She explained, while Glenn nodded, sweat pouring down his face, "Yeah, I don't know what the hell is going on, its like they're holding a damn convention. There are more walkers than ever before."

"But why? The prison has always had its fair deal of walkers but why so many now?" Carol questioned the two.

"I don't know, but whatever the reason is we better find out, can't have them all following us back here." Maggie huffed as she began to walk back towards the prison, hoping to find Rick and tell him the recent happenings.

"That'd be bad, but now we're one car short and no supplies. This is just awesome." Glenn said, catching up with Maggie as the two walked away.

He slipped an arm around Maggie's waist as they walked together in silence recalling and pondering on the news Maggie told him in the car as they thought about their impending death, he needed to talk to her about this.

He needed to know if what Maggie had said was true.

"Maggie, Maggie, we need to talk." Glenn demanded from the girl beside him.

"Not now, Glenn, we need to find Rick." She retorted.

"Why? Don't you remember he gave up being the leader? What we need to do is tell the rest of the council, tell them what's going on with the walkers, not Rick."

"I know, Glenn, but I think Rick should know, it's important."

"You know, what you said in the car earlier is too." Glenn argued.

Maggie came to an abrupt stop and faced Glenn with a quick movement, anger arousing in her eyes, "No Glenn, we don't, I don't even know for sure, okay? I just...I dunno, I just said it, now let's go, and if you don't wanna tell Rick then I will, just don't bring it up again."

Confusion washed over Glenn's eyes as Maggie turned and sauntered away, leaving Glenn lost and hurt, as he didn't want his Maggie upset with him over something so silly...so tiny.

Besides, he didn't even know what Maggie was going to say before, they ran from the car before she even got to finish her sentence.

Alright, so that is it! I know it's short so bear with me, but next chapter will be longer, I promise! Just don't forget to review, because that would be most appreciated.

And I hope you all like it because this is my first fanfic and I jus love Gleggie so much and there really isn't many fanfics out there for the two.

I hope you liked it! c:
