Hello, anyone who may be reading this! It's been a while, hasn't it? I'm sure the people who followed me before have all dissappeared, huh? Heh heh...Ah. Anyway. Since I've started playing Azur Lane, I've had the thought 'Huh. I bet I could make an okay fanfiction of this.' and so, months of planning has lead to what you're going to be reading here. Well. Obviously, the whole thing isn't going to be 'entries' but there's going to be a few of these. Anyway, hope you all enjoy!
ENTRY 1 - AN EXPLAINATION
Writer: Cecil Smith, 1st officer of the Royal Navy
It had been quite some time since the 'defeat' of the Crimson Axis, though, the defeat was more of a surrender. Following the emergence of some kind of entity which somehow managed to sway the hearts of many people and ships, the Crimson Axis came to us, begging to be part of the Azur Lane, just so they didn't get stomped by this spontaneously appearing entity's navy, even the Sirens, creatures that had single-handedly swiped control of the sea away from humanity, were practically begging us for an alliance, even going as far as to offer their entire arsenal, or, what they had left of one, to us.
Naturally, we were skeptical, the story sounded made up, a simple ruse for the Sirens to use to worm their way into our ranks, but then we, ourselves, saw the concequences of this new faction dawning. The very same commander that lead our fight against the Sirens had defected to this faction's cause, not only that, but he managed to convince fully half of our forces to join him, leaving us with virtually nothing.
With nothing left to lose, we accepted the Crimson Axis' offers for peace and alliance, figuring it would be nice to have them on our side after the crushing blow that was the Great Betrayal.
So, where does that leave us now? Our enemies are now our friends, and our friends are now our enemies. On top of that, we have no commander.
Things are looking bleak for humanity.
Glory to the Royal Navy.
