Dib was looking out on the roof of his house while Gaz was sitting on the table beside it eating a hot dog. "Look at it Gaz," Dib said, "There's so many things that we've seen from out there. Don't you wish you could go up there and see it all?" Gaz only grunted and walked back inside. Now thinking about it, it was only at noon that he had helped his enemy, Zim, stop Tak, another of Zim's kind. An Irken; but one who was smarter. She was also luckier, but not as much as Gaz. He remembered how they met…
How did I fall for it…?
He didn't know if he knew or not by the way she acted towards him…she was…nice. He should've known better; and sometimes he wished he'd helped her. He tried shaking it off. Why couldn't he see the truth? Why was he so gullible? Did he not know, or…did he just believe her on purpose? Was it possible that…
Dib swallowed as he thought through it. It could've been possible…but he was a human; not an alien, nor an Irken…but…still…was it true…
Did I…love her?
Dib mentally blushed to himself at the thought of liking an alien; and even worse, to a girl of his enemy's specie. He looked up to see a purplish light in the sky. Could it be Tak? But, why'd he care if it was or not? Why'd he smile? But then…he frowned once more. This could be Zim after all. The next thing he knew he was embracing himself for the UFO's impact.
CRASH!
Dib was blown a few inches away from his now smudged equipment. He stood and walked over to the roaring flames from afar. A glimmer of hope came across his face as he smiled…
…It was Tak's ship.
