Author's Note: This is simply a poem that I thought up while thinking of my past. It is basically Link and Dark Link's relationship, but I think that it sucks... Anyway, could you please review if you disagree with my opinion?
Within the Dark Confines of My Heart
Within the innermost shadows of my soul you were there
I couldn't see you or feel your presence…
But somehow, you were there, a fledgling

When I was a child sleeping within my bed
You came out and played with my abused person
You haunted my nightmares as an unknown enemy
------------
When I grew, I saw you by my side holding my sword
Somehow I held you within my heart and bound you with chains
It was your just reward for plaguing me like a pestilence
------------
Still, whenever I looked at my reflection, I didn't see myself
I saw you grinning maliciously and mouthing your revenge
It was a foreshadowing of my fate

I think that by the time I was an adult you had forgiven me
When I made my first kill, I couldn't look at the blood upon my hands
You came out and caressed me in your shadowy embrace
Whispering sweet nothings to me

At the end you were by my side…
You held my bloodstained hand as tears of darkness dripped from your very eyes
They fell thickly to the ground and transformed to blood
As my end came, you simply smiled
"I'll always be in the confines of your heart."
