Playing With Magnetism
So jut the randomest idea to have ever popped into my head. I do not own soul eater. Now read, review and enjoy!
Stein had been sitting at his desk thinking, allowing his mind to go on random tangents to produce ideas. Some of them were absolutely ridiculous, many of them were simply bring, and others were, a little to interesting to be morally right. This continued until one phrase drifted into his mind. Opposites attract. This idea intrigued him and so he set about devising the perfect way to test it. When he was finished he sat and back smiled to himself. This experiment would not answer his current question, but another on how sudden shock will affect a meister weapon pair. Unfortunately the pair he had in mind were none other than Soul and Maka. You can probably guess what he was going to do, how ever if you can't, then allow me to give you a hint. What do you think would be the most shocking thing for Soul and Maka to experience? If you still can't come up with an answer than simply wait and see.
The next morning seemed perfectly normal, Soul and Maka made their way over to the class room when they were stopped by an all too familiar scientist. Stein place a hand on each of their shoulders, stopping them in their tracks just in front of the door.
"Professor stein! Uh, did we do something wrong?" Maka asked, steins presence making her understandably nervous.
Stein leaned forward, leveling his gaze with Maka and soul in turn, then he simply let go and walked back inside.
"That was...weird, don't you think?" Soul asked.
"Let's just forget about it soul."
"Why do we have to let things go just because your scared of Stein?"
"I'm not afraid of Stein!"
"yes you are! You're totally scared of him!"
"Am not!"
"Are to!"
"Am not!"
Stein grinned to himself as he listened to the argument. This was a perfect time to run his experiment, and all the pieces were already in place. You see when he grabbed their shoulders he sent some of his wave length into both of them. Through concentration Stein has the ability to concentrate the residual charge into specific areas of the body, like specially placing magnets. So get the picture yet? Closing his eyes, stein concentrated the residual charge, hopefully in the lower half of their heads, were the mouth happens to be located. With a slight chuckle to himself he quickly changed the residual charge in Maka so that it was now the exact opposite wave length of the charge in soul. Opposites attract.
Unfortunately he was slightly off in his placement, instead of the lower half, the charges ended up in the upper half. So instead of them kissing each other, which would have had some rather entertaining results; they head butted each other, which proved to be just as entertaining.
"What the hell did you do that for?!" Soul snapped, clutching at his already bruising forehead.
"Me?! You did it!" Maka retorted, rubbing a matching bruise.
"No I didn't!"
"Yes you did!"
"No I didn-ow..." Soul groaned, the argument now giving him a splitting head ache.
"Soul you okay?" Maka asked, her anger giving way to concern.
"Yeah, I'm fine, let's just stop arguing about this. Okay?"
"I'm good with that..." she said, giving him a warm smile.
Stein just laughed, shocking both of them out of their little friendship moment.
"What's so funny?" they both asked.
"I guess it's true,"
"Huh?"
"Opposites really DO attract!"
Aaannd cut! That's a wrap folks! Hope you all enjoyed this! But be sure to come back because I plan on making this story a two shot for extra laughs!
