I hope you like it!

His smile, the way his eyes gleamed in the sunlight, the bright brown and yellow that glistened as his head tilted up. I remember his shallow breaths whispering in the night breeze as he'd walk by my side. I remember his messy hair swaying with each brush of air passing by, swirling around us as we'd walk in silence, his hands folded behind his head, mine casually swaying by my sides.

My eyes slowly opened as my body shifted from it uncomfortable position, aching as I slowly heaved myself up from the floor I must have fallen asleep on. My head panged with pain, a headache on its way I guess, my body remaining unresponsive and numb as once again I shift to sit in a less awkward position. Images penetrate my mind with memories whirling in my brain, piercing it with pasts I had thought to have locked away and forgotten, memories that brought silent tears to stray from my eyes, sliding down my paled cheeks and pooling onto the tiles under me. Images of a blond haired boy; his audible laughter latching onto my mind, echoing in all its crevices, the soft chuckles and the sly sniggers, his contagious smile growing wider on his face.

How I longed to see that very smile one more time. Just once more.

A salty, warm tear coated my dry lips as I sat still, neither wiping the streams flowing endlessly from my eyes or trying to stop them from flowing and dampening my black shirt, causing some of its fabric to cling to my chest as if to have been glued into place by my sorrows, my regrets and all the things I could've...should've done.

My eyes looked into sorrowful, red and puffed ones, staring at its voided emptiness, its glazed coating reflecting back dull, cold eyes. A torn black shirt, revealing cuts and bruises painted on a paper white canvas. My eyes slowly slid down the glass frame, looking tiredly at the tattered boy that remained motionless and faded on its glass surface, almost completely transparent.

I watched the boy as his lips gradually moved, pressing together before finally parting. His cracked lips coated and moisten by his tongue sliding upon them before repeating the steps once more. His lips parted as soft and almost inaudible words croaked from his lips.

"...Hide."
