A/N: Another Black family Classic. Well, maybe not classic, but it'll do. Umm…Any spelling/Grammar errors please inform me as I have a tendency to be a dork. I personally blame America's public schooling system! Any questions please ask the lady at the desk.
Andromeda Tonks grew up in the Most Ancient and Noble House of Black and with that comes a very unique childhood. When in a family that is considered royalty your up bringing is very unconventional. As a child she was expected to keep her shoulders back, to wear a dress, to never play rough, how to look pretty and other manners of proper etiquette. As Andromeda grew older she began to despise her family's view on Mudbloods and such. So she ran as far away as she could to the arms of a man she truly loved. She fancied herself to be rid of all of that Black spirit and for a while fate allowed her to fool herself.
She was a determined and independent woman and she prided herself on that. She never regretted her decision to leave. Though her new life was different she never had any qualms with her fiancé and his up bringing and took everything in stride. Her wedding, which she knew would be much less lavish than the ones she attended, was still beautiful and the only parts she missed were her father walking her down the aisle and having her sisters as brides maids.
One of the best gifts that life can give you is a child. So when Nymphadora was born it was into love and happiness, but soon Andromeda realized that when you raise a child you nurture them the way you were. Soon Ted and Andi butted heads over their daughter; Ted thought that they should let their child's uniqueness run rampant. While Andromeda thought that reeling her daughter in and teaching her manners and etiquette. However, because Ted was someone she loved, she trusted him to know how to raise a child. She saw that his parents had done a great job on him and look at her family.
Now don't get all upset Andromeda loves her daughter and her unique soul. There are just moments when Nymphie will slam into a chair and it takes all that's in her not to cringe and blanch at her daughter's obvious clumsiness.
So when her daughter talks extremely loud and obnoxious, says rude things to her parents, becomes an auror, and goes after men her father's age it takes all of her self control to not look at her daughter and hate what she is. They say is you throw enough mud on a wall some has to stick. The Blacks threw more than enough beliefs and habits her way. She thanks Merlin everyday that most did not stick.
Nevertheless, the upper crust pure blood woman inside her flinches away embarrassed every time that her daughter acts like a common woman.
A/N: I have no idea what that was, but hey.
