"Have you been practising facial reconstruction?" Harry asked as he turned away from the computer to look at Leo "You're getting better at it than I am" he joked as Leo walked over to look at the computer screen over his younger co-worker's shoulder.

"It's not mine" Leo replied as the door opened behind them and a woman's voice sounded around the room.

"Hi guys"

Harry and Leo turned around and the older man nodded towards the blonde woman as Harry couldn't help but stare at her. His eyes wandered over her blonde hair that was tied up in a messy bun and over the rest of her body as she walked over to a desk and placed a box on top then picked up some evidence and moved to another desk. His breath caught in his throat as she looked up at him and smiled and he wondered what was happening to him, he had only just seen this new woman and already he was feeling something he hadn't felt in years. He glanced over at Leo who was reading from a folder then back at the new woman, trying to clear his head before he spoke.

"Um..I don't know if I've fallen into a black hole or something.." he prompted and Leo turned away from his folder as he apologised at introduced the woman as Nikki. Harry's throat went dry when he heard that Leo was going to have her thrown out at some point, even though he knew the older man was joking somewhat.

"Nikki Alexander" Nikki held out her hand to Harry who took it "Forensic anthropologist" Harry wondered why they needed one of these for their case but didn't say anything as Nikki continued "It's more of a ram raid really, I only want you for your software"

Harry had to resist the great urge to reply to that in his normal cheeky way with something rude and humorous but Leo interrupted.

"I've had her checked out and it seems she is who she says she is"

'I'm sure she is' Harry thought as he looked back at the beautiful woman next to him and had to avert his eyes, Leo could read him like a book normally and he didn't want that embarrassment of Leo knowing what he was thinking.

"Well I should hope so" Harry replied, clearing his throat slightly and Nikki smiled at him causing his heart to jump un-naturally in his chest.

"Well I found my story now I'm going to get out of your way" Nikki said as Harry and Leo leant against their desks.

'No' Harry thought desperately 'Damn it Leo say something, make her stay'

He didn't know what he was feeling for Nikki, they had only just met, but he knew it was good and if she left...Harry didn't want to think about it. He realised that Leo and Nikki were having a conversation and tried to tune into them and heard Leo say:

"Would you be interested in working in this department as a pathologist for the next six months?"

'Yes' Harry thought, triumphant that he would be seeing this beautiful woman almost everyday for the next six months, he could work with Leo in that time to ask her to stay longer.

"I thought you'd never ask" Nikki grinned and Harry chuckled slightly, his day ending on a high note.

I moved things around a bit and missed things out but this was blatantly what Harry was thinking. Inspired by Charlotte88's video on youtube..might do a few of these with her video's. XD
