The girl with the knife
Thunk, thunk, the knives embed
their blades sinking to the hilts
another person lying dead
one girl to live with the guilt
clink, clink, the knife impales
it's blade pushing through
another tribute lying pale
one girl who can never repay her dues
clunk, clunk, the knife is still
it's blade no longer a threat
the girls screams echoing shrill
finally she has paid her debts
In memory of Clove, the girl with the knives, expect more poems for other tributes soon
