Astro practically fell out of his bed as he jumped awake. Cold sweat drenched his pale blue pajamas. What a horrible dream. Just horrible. He started to put a foot onto his floor when he stopped. A sudden fear pulsed through him, making him unwilling to put any part of his body on the floor in case it may attract some sort of beast.
So he lied back down, pulling the sheets up over his head, trembling. He wanted, really wanted, to go to Atlas' room. Summing up all the courage he could, Astro leaped out of his bed, out the door, and ran toward Atlas' room at the end of the hall.
The teen's bedroom door creaked as Astro opened it, awakening him. "Hmmm...?" Atlas sat up, just in time for Astro to accidently tackle him back down. "A-Astro?! What's wrong?" he asked. Astro just clung to him, crying silently. Atlas sat up with his little brother in his lap. "There there, it's okay now. It was a nightmare, wasn't it? About the bomb at Robotonia?" The boy just nodded.
With a soft sigh, Atlas began rubbing Astro's back soothingly. soon, Astro stopped crying, and his breathing became soft and even. Atlas realized with satisfaction that he was sleeping. Careful not to wake him, Atlas lied back down, pulling the cover over the both of them. Also drifting back into sleep, Atlas whispered: "Good night, little brother. Sleep well."
The End
