A/N: E/O Drabble challenge, thought I would give it a try :)

Word: Broken

Fire destroyed my life, took away everything I ever had. Took away a woman that meant everything to me, left me bent, broken, undone. I wanted to scream, wanted to curse, to die.

But the hours passed, turned to days, to hours to years and everything became distant memories.

I moved on, had others to comfort me, tell me that things would be fine, would be okay. I believed them, trusted them.

That was until it came back, tried to take what was left.

It tried to take my children, by sons.

So the only thing to give: My life!
