Olivia was asleep in her partner's arms. Elliot was looking at her while she slept.' she's so beautiful' he thought. He kissed her head and got up to use the restroom. He turned on the light and closed the door. He went to the bathroom and went to wash his hands and face, when he saw something. 'A poem?' he thought. When he read it he cried.
WHAT IF?
What
if something happened to me?
What
if I died?
What
if my father came home and said he wanted to hide?
What
if he looked you I the eye and said he did not mean to lie?
What
if he started to cry and said he wanted to die?
What
if he said he wanted us back?
What
if you said no?
What
if he pulled a gun and pointed it at his toes?
What
if he put it up to your head and pulled that little lever?
What
if Blood flew and what if you fell over?
What
if we met in heaven and never saw him again?
What
if we were happy that we were free again?
What
if we went to Marky and Nonie?
What
if that was the end?

Olivia was awake when he read the poem she wrote so long ago. She pulled the covers around her and got up. She opened the bathroom door and put her arms around his midsection. He jumped slightly but soon relaxed. He turned around and put his arms around her waist and pulled her up. The covers dropped and she felt wetness on her chest. Olivia smiled sadly when he put her down. She pulled Elliot to the bed and lied down. She pulled him into a sweet, warm embrace. He fell asleep in her arms and she smiled. She too fell asleep. That is the love of a man, women, cops, partners, and best friends. She woke up before Elliot did. She looked at the love of her life and kissed his lips.
"I love you Elliot Stabler…"She whispered and got up to make breakfast. After she left the room he smiled because he hear want she said. He got up and went to the kitchen. He turned her around and looked into her eyes. With all the love he has for her he kissed he. She kissed back and when they broke apart for air, they smiled.
"What was that for?" She questioned.
"I love you so much Liv so much" He smiled and hugged her and she hugged him back.
