The Greatest Birthday Present Ever

Junior's POV

I woke up, the light blinding me as I sat up in bed. I was never really a morning person, because I always had something to do or someone to save. I never really got enough time to sleep at all. As I stretched and changed into my clothes I heard a knock at my door.

"Yes? Who is it?" I asked, yawning loudly.

"Little Master, open up! It's urgent!" came the tired voice of Mary.

"I'm coming…" I said, trudging to the door and opening it.

"It's MOMO's birthday! We have all gotten her a present. The only one who hasn't gotten her one is you" said Mary.

"Why didn't you tell me this before?" I asked, my face red with fury.

"We thought you knew already! Anyway we need you to get one! Her party is at noon today ok?"

"Noon? But that's in 2 hours!" I complained.

"Well then, you better hurry!" said Mary.

I ran past Mary and out of the Elsa and into town.

"What in the world can I buy MOMO? I don't even know what she likes…." I asked myself.

I searched all around town and finally I found the perfect present for her. A gold necklace. I ran back to the Elsa, wrapped it and arrived just in time for the party.

"What took ya Jr?" asked Allen.

"Sorry….I'm not a very good shopper and I didn't know what to get MOMO" I replied, exhausted from running around town all day..

"Don't worry Little Master, Let's just have us a party!" shouted Matthews.

Everyone was having fun at the party, everyone that is, except for me. I sat down and stared off into space, day-dreaming about MOMO. I thought about MOMO all the time. But now was going to be especially tough for me…I just hope that she will like my present.

MOMO walks up to me. Me, being the childish person I was, wasn't paying attention at all.

"Jr….You ok?" asked MOMO.

I snapped back to reality..

"Y-Yeah…I'm fine" I replied, resting my chin on my hands and my elbows on my lap.

"So, what do you think of the party?" asked MOMO.

"It's ok…I just don't feel like dancing right now…." I said, not wanting to tell her the real reason I wasn't dancing.

"Well, I'm going to open presents now so why don't you come over and join us!" said the cheerful MOMO.

"Ok" I said, picking up my present and walking over to where everyone else was standing.

MOMO opened everyone's present. Everyone's, except for mine.

"Here MOMO…I didn't know what else to get you…" I said, handing her the present.

She opened it and the biggest look of surprise crossed her face.

"Oh Jr…It's pretty! Thank you!" said MOMO, running into my arms and giving me a hug.

"I hope you like it..It was all I could find.." I said, looking down.

She lifted my head.

"It's the greatest present ever" she replied, leaning in and giving me a quick little kiss on the cheek.
