Vigilante Chapter 1 'A Mission That Ends in Tragedy'
A/N: Welcome readers; to my first story. Will have some swearing, but might have death scenes, and sad moments, I should warn you right away.
And to make sure, do not own, all warner bros and the OC's belong to other authors.

"Training simulation commencing" A robotic voice said out loud.
A male bunny smiled as robots came out of the walls, ready to attack.
A robot tried to attack him with flying blades but he quickly dodged the attack and kicked the robots out of the air, destroying them.
"Too easy"
In the control room, there was a coyote and road runner watching the action.
"Rev, increase the difficulty for him"
"Ok-Tech-I'll-make-sure-that-he'll-feel-it. Just-like-when-we-did-for-you-" He couldn't say anything because someone clamped his beak.
Tech sighed, "You don't have to remind me"
Rev ran over to the master control and released more robots.
The bunny got ready as more arrived, so he pulled out a collapsible sword.
He got ready and said, "Guardian Strike Sword, defend!"
A force field formed around the bunny, protecting him from laser attacks and attacks from blades.
The robots backed off and he let the shield down, smiling; his eyes glowed yellow.
He jumped on one of the robots and stabbed it in the head, causing it to lose control and attack anything in front of it.
The bunny aimed towards to the other robots and pushed it, making it attack the others, destroying them.
"Training Simulation Over, Congratulations Ace Bunny"
The doors opened up from behind him.
"Nice work Ace"
He looked back to see a female black and pink bunny tossing a bottle of water to him.
He quickly caught the bottle and drank from it, "Thanks Lex, your turn?"
She shook her head, "Nope, we have another call from Zadavia."
"About?"
"Nothing important, it sounds like a group of people stealing money from the 1st National Bank" She gave a holo-document to show the latest news.
"What kind of weapons?"
"There's no one using weapons"
"What? That's a first" Ace didn't hear anything like this before, a bank heist with no weapons.
"There's one by the name 'Devastator,' he apparently has powers to rip the door open so his men could steal it. He also killed the guards so he and his men used their guns."
"Ok, let's see what Zadavia wants" he looked over to the control room and both the coyote and roadrunner already left.
He walked with the bunny to the common room, "Should we contact Holly right away?"
Lexi wanted to, but she had something important today as well, "She might but we shouldn't disturb her during her new unveiling at the museum of Art, besides; she was looking forward at this."
Ace nodded, "What about Skye or Fleur and her team?"
"They left right away back to Lupus K9 and Harman for a while to handle some crimes happening there, and they're getting ready for our 5th anniversary."
"I guess it's just us for now, but I'm sure that we'll handle it." Ace felt confident about this mission.
They entered the common room to see Slam, Tech, Duck and Rev were already seating down.
"Fashionably late as usual" Duck said with some annoyance in his voice.
"What's up doc," He said to the gang.
As the bunnies sat down, a hologram appeared on the table, showing a tall blonde woman. She looked at the Loonatics and said, "Loonatics we have a problem."
"When do you ever call with something good" Duck said but he instantly regretted it by seeing her glare.
"A group of people robbed a bank but they didn't have any weapons on them, instead one person had some sort of metal powers to rip the doors apart from the vault and killed all of the guards. His men stole the weapons and now keeping the police out"
"So we must sneak in and disable them before they leave?"
"Yes, and you must hurry, they might leave soon Zadavia out" The hologram disappeared as she ended with her signature phrase.
Ace was happy to see another mission; he looked at each Loonatic present and said "Let's Jet"
They left the tower as usual with Jetpacks and non-lethal weapons to capture the villains.
Ace lead them to the 1st Bank, the sight was shocking, not much stuff appeared in front of the bank but police and SWAT were outside, ready to attack.
So the Loonatics started their decent.
After they landed, they went up to the commanding officer, Captain Andrea Rivers.
Ace landed and asked "Hey Captain, what's the situation"
The Blonde woman smiled as she seen the Loonatics, "Good to see you guys, Devastator is one bad guy. He murdered some of my men when they got to close, here's some info on him" She handed them the files, "we're about to move in, get ready."
The Loonatics remembered that there's a back door at this bank that could help them.
Ace and Lexi had a great idea, "Slam, you will be decoys with Rev and Duck, Lexi, Tech and I will go in by the back entrance and ambush them."
Each Loonatic nodded in agreement.
"Let's go"
Ace opened the door, only to find that no one's around.
"There's no one here, it's clear"
They walked into the building, only to find nothing wrong with the bank.
"Weird" Ace checked around and found out that no guard at all.
"Ace, someone coming this way" Lexi warned.
They got ready as a person walked in their direction.
"HUH!" He pulled out a gun but Ace knocked him out before he could fire.
"Nice" Tech smiled, as he didn't have to knock him out.
Checking the area for more, they decided to head up to the main place, the vault.
"Here it is" Ace confirmed as he examined the insides, "What?"
"What's wrong" Lexi and Tech kept lookout, they were behind the counters, behind the bank robbers but there's no sign of Devastator.
"All of the money's here"
"That's odd"
Ace examined the contents but heard gunshots. He got down but heard Andrea called out, "The bank robbers are caught."
"What a relief" he walked out but heard something behind him.
"Hello… Loonatic" Ace looked back to see a fist, quickly knocking him out of the vault and through the glass usually placed between a bank employee and citizen.
"Ace!" Both Lexi and Tech ran towards the bunny.
A large orange tiger walked out of the vault, without any weapon or anything. He was wearing a black suit, no armor, nothing else to protect him.
"Who are you?"
The tiger looked at Lexi and answered her question, "Greetings Loonatics, my name is Mat Tiger, but call me Devastator."
"Why did you do this?"
The tiger looked over at the yellow bunny and smirked, "I have no need of currency, no…on the contrary; we're after something much better," he pointed at Ace with pure hatred, "your death by my hands!"
"Assist them right now" Andrea commanded to the remaining soldiers who are not taking the robbers away.
"Yes ma'am" The soldiers ran back into the bank.
Duck helped Ace up as Rev and Slam ran over towards the tiger.
The soldiers fired at the tiger, hoping that this will weaken him.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA, come and get me Loonatics!" he grabbed the vault door and entire body suddenly acted strange; metal was melting and attaching itself to his body, solidifying, making the rounds useless.
The bank vault was his main shielding, making him a tough opponent.
"We can't hit him" Tech tried to find a way to defeat him but he never dealt with anyone that has metal manipulation.
Ace got up, wondering how to beat him.
"Loonatics, engage!" he charged with his guardian strike sword, hoping to defeat him.
Mat smiled, "Interesting."
Ace tried to hit him, he caught the blade with his hand, "Too slow" he pulled Ace closer and kicked him away.
Devastator threw his sword at him, but it missed, "Make sure you're ready first. Or otherwise it wouldn't be fun."
Slam rushed over and tried to knock him down but Devastator blocked his punch with his punch.
The shock of their hits almost knocked everyone else down, mainly the police.
The tiger smiled as he scanned the area, "Better luck next time"
He lifted the devil and unleashed a barrage of attacks onto the devil, all Slam could do is take each hit.
When devastator finished, he turned his hands into sledgehammers and continued his attack.
Tech tried to use his magnetic polarity to stop but he couldn't control the metal.
"Magnetic Polarity, pity… I'll take you next" He left Slam and charged towards the coyote.
He grabbed the coyote but something unexpected happened, his group of robbers broke free and attacked the police.
"Men, we need to capture them at all costs!" the captain had to protect the Loonatics so they could continue their mission, "Good luck guys."
Devastator smiled as he looked across, 3 Loonatics down and 3 left, "Let's see here, Duck who's a loser, Rev, who can't stop talking, and Lexi. I can't wait until I finish each of you off."
Lexi hit him with a few brain shots but his metal protected him.
Duck tried to teleport, hoping to confuse him.
The tiger sighed in grief, "I guess this have to happen" he stood still for a second and predicted where Duck might appear.
A few times Duck teleported too far from his reach but he got cocky and landed behind him, hoping for a sneak attack.
The tiger smiled, "Gotchya."
"What?" Duck couldn't get away because the tiger spun around and made his hands into jagged pieces so it could damage him more.
He used boxing skills to make a set of combos with metal hands, hurting the Duck.
Rev spun around him and used 'Phoenix' mode to hopefully melt the metal.
Devastator decided to have short metal rods to trip the roadrunner and when he seen the opportunity, he seized it.
Rev tried to get away, but one hit and he couldn't move. The tiger grabbed his neck and used his other hand to continued to punch him with brass knuckles.
Lexi seen that Devastator doesn't have enough metal to cover his body, he made a small opening when he made the rods.
'Excellent' she kicked at the area and used a brain-blast on it.
"ARGH" Devastator was getting pissed off.
"Damn it BUNNY" he leaped towards her.
She tried to get out of the way but he grabbed her arm and threw her down to the ground.
He smiled at the bunny, "Time to die"
Devastator decided that he no longer needs the metal shield, so he morphed the vault metal into a large sword, wanting to kill.
He swung the sword at her but he missed every attempt, she could dodge his attacks with ease.
Getting annoyed by this, he grabbed the Guardian Strike Sword and kicked Ace in the stomach.
"Ace" her eyes started to glow, as she wanted to protect him.
She fired and fired on him but he slashed each hit and he got closer towards her. The hits didn't faze him either, but when he got close, he knocked her down to the ground.
"Goodbye" He swung, using Ace's sword, at her but someone pushed her out of the way, taking the hit.
The hit from the sword made a small dust cloud around him and Lexi. When the dust settled, Devastator didn't expect this.
"Well, well"
Lexi didn't feel hurt but she didn't like what she seen, Ace pushed her out of the way and the blade stabbed him in the stomach area by his own sword.
"ARGH" Ace grunted as Devastator pulled the sword out of him.
"HAHAHAHAHA," he dropped the blade beside him and used his sword, "goodbye… TARGET!"
Lexi grabbed Ace and pulled him away from the attack, luckily missing the fatal hit.
She placed him down so she and the rest of the Loonatics attacked the tiger.
'What happened to me?'
Ace didn't feel anything at all and his vision was very blurry. He could barely see his team fighting the enemy but he couldn't move.
'How come I can't move?'
He tried his best to look down, but he seen his wound, stabbed by his blade.
He could move his arms a little and tried to put pressure on the wound, but only pain could be felt.
"UGH" he grunted as he tried to stop the bleeding.
"Ace!" he looked up to see Lexi running up to him.
"…Lex…?"
She knelt down to him, "Don't worry Ace" she put pressure on the wound, "you're going to make it."
He laid back down to ignore the pain, even though that it was tough.
"Lexi?" He said weakly.
"Yes, what is it?"
He slowly pushed himself back to a wall to keep himself in an upright position, "…I don't know… if I'm gonna make it"
"Don't talk like that Ace, you're going to be fine" she kept pressure on the wound while the others were fighting for their leader.
"Hey Lex… come closer…" his voice gotten more raspy as he continued to talk.
"What is it?"
Ace pressed his lips on hers.
She didn't expect this but she returned the kiss.
They had to let go so she could find a way to stop the bleeding.
"…Remember the good times? How many attempts our comrades tried to get us together?"
"Don't talk like that Ace."
"I wished that we stayed together, I love you Lexi, I always loved you"
"No, don't leave me yet Ace, I love you too" She seen his eyes slowly close and he lay on the ground, motionless.
"…Ace…?" Lexi felt his pulse and noticed that it's growing weaker.
'I have to' she looked back and examined the area around the main lobby.
'There' she noticed 2 stone pillars weakened from the attack.
She waited until he was directly underneath it.
When the 4 pushed him to that spot, she fired 2 shots and made the ceiling fall onto him.
Knowing that will hold him for a while, the Loonatics ran back to Lexi, hoping that Ace's ok"
"How's Ace?" Tech asked the bunny.
"Not good Tech, check on him"
The Loonatics are now feeling their injuries; somehow Devastator knew how to fight them.
"Who was this guy, and on a side note: he could control METAL!" Duck was mad at him; "He made armor for himself and made weapons!"
"Duck's-right-for-once, -he's-the-first-to-have-metal-manipulation. -We-should-agree-this-is-the-first-person-that-almost-defeated-us." Rev was running around the group, because he was worried, "We-couldn't-even-defeat-him, it-as-like-he-knew-how-to-fight-us."
"Is he going to be ok?" Slam was exhausted from fighting but he was mainly worried for Ace.
"Well then, if he's hurt badly, then I'll become the leader when he's in the hospital" Duck boasted but secretly he was worried.
"Duck!" everyone got quiet, this was rare for Lexi to yell, "Now's not the time for your petty jealousy, OK?"
Duck ran behind Slam for cover, he was scared to see her mad.
"Guys, I have some bad news" Tech stopped the bleeding but there's more injuries.
"How is it?" Lexi walked up to the third-in-command.
"I got him patched up for now but without proper medical care, the wound will reopen."
"We have to go," She looked over to the captain, "you got this captain?"
The captain nodded, "We'll take care of this."
The Loonatics ran out of the bank and summoned their zoomatrixes.
Ace was placed behind Tech and the rest got into theirs.
As soon as they got out, the human captain examined the mess Lexi made to contain Devastator.
"Secure this guy now!"
The police were removing the rubble but a hand came out, crushing a guy's arm.
"AHHHH" he pulled back, only to find a missing arm.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAH it will take more than rocks to kill me!" he used the metal to create a small set of armor and sword. He swung the sword around, killing more police.
He stopped, as there wasn't a single living person, except the Captain.
He walked up to the blonde woman, "Time to die."
The blonde smiled and laughed, "You can quit the charade Devastator, there's no cameras."
The tiger stopped and removed his metal, "Aw come on, that's no fun."
She pulled out her gun and shot herself in the stomach, arm and leg.
She sat down in pain, "Don't worry, your target's getting away towards the hospital. If you run, you can catch up, I'll just act like I got injured during the escape."
"Thanks Andrea"
"Go, Blake's counting that the mission's a success"
The tiger ran out of the bank, used his metal to his legs so he could run much faster.
She laid down as more police arrived, 'perfect.'
"How long till we get to the hospital Tech" Lexi asked as the coyote lead the way.
"We'll be there in a few minutes" they drove past a few streets but didn't see anyone walking around.
'Weird?' Lexi noticed that it was a bright summer day, normally there would be a lot of people.
"Fog coming up" Tech called out as they passed 4th avenue.
"Fog?" Duck complained about the fog and how he can't see, which no one listened to.
While driving for a few more blocks with no people around and a dense fog, it felt weird for the female bunny.
"Do you guys think its weird?" she said to the guys.
"What do you mean?"
"Normally there would be a lot of people around on this sunny day but here we are, driving through a dense fog that came out of nowhere."
She also heard some weird metal sounds once in a while, "Do you guys hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"This weird metal clicking sound" she looked around but couldn't see too far.
"How can we hear anything, you can hear it because of you super hearing?" Duck complained again.
She looked up to see a person shaped figure jumping across buildings.
"Right there" she pointed to the tops of buildings.
"I don't see anything" Tech said as he drove ahead.
Even though Tech didn't see it, the person jumped up and crashed onto Tech's bike.
"You're not getting away from me PREY" the person was Devastator, he punched through the glass, destroying the wheel.
He jumped away and watched as Tech crashed into a building.
"Tech, Ace!" Lexi and the others stopped and had to battle the tiger.
She got out of her vehicle and noticed that they were almost out of the fog, she noticed that they were only a short ways away from the hospital.
She and the others still standing decided to knock Devastator down, so Tech could heal up and take Ace.
They used everything they had to keep him down, Slam grabbed him and used his wrestling moves to damage him.
Lexi noticed that the guardian strike sword was on the ground, away from everyone but she couldn't grab it yet. Instead, she fired her brain-blasts onto him, making him back up and when he got close to a wall, she fired onto it and makes it collapse on him.
Once they knew that they had a few more moments, they ran over to Tech, hoping that they didn't get hurt badly.
"Tech" Rev called out to the coyote.
"Yeah" Tech said as he pulled Ace out.
"We have a change of plans, you will need to get Ace out of here, I'll stay here and make sure that Devastator stays down"
"That's crazy Lexi, he defeated Ace" Tech tried to persuade her to reconsider.
"Tech," she glared at him, "Make. Sure. He. Survives."
The coyote couldn't find a way to convince her, she's set on defeating this guy.
"Ok" he ran over to the bikes but he heard ticking.
Suddenly a hand broke out of the debris, holding a button.
He pressed it and made the remaining bikes explode.
"You're not leaving me that easily Loonatics" the tiger said, as he got ready for combat.
Tech pressed a button and made Ace's bike arrive, so he got in it with Ace, ready to leave.
"Guys, go with Ace" Lexi decided to fight him alone.
Slam looked at both Rev and Duck then back at Lexi. He wanted Ace to be safe but her decision was wrong.
He stood beside her, ready to fight for their leader.
"Slam…" she tried to speak but he placed his hand on her shoulder, he smiled and gave her a thumbs up.
Both Rev and Duck were beside her, ready to fight.
"We want him to survive but you should to"
The bunny smiled, she knew that it was pointless to argue.
"AHHHH" Devastator charged at them at full speed.
Tech used his powers to bind him for a second but he broke free.
Slam decided to attack first, since he's the strongest of the group.
"Excellent" the tiger had the same black aura he used when he injured Ace.
"…Guys, Watch out…." Ace wanted to fight but his injuries were getting worse by the minute.
Both the devil and tiger collided with fists, making the ground shake with each hit.
"You're not getting Ace" Slam said to the tiger.
"I don't understand you fucking slob, speak English" Devastator grabbed the devil and threw him in the air.
He jumped passed the devil and he grabbed his arm and swung him down with all of his strength.
The ground shook as the devil hit the ground, making a large crater. It knocked the entire team down and shattered glass from buildings nearby.
'Oh no' Lexi heard snapping when Slam hit the ground; she knew that it was his bones snapping.
"Slam!"
Both Rev and Duck checked the crater for their friend but Slam was unconscious.
Lexi seen that the tiger emitted a black aura around him when he could hurt one of them.
She looked back to the last place the sword was at but it disappeared.
'Where is it?'
"ARGH" both Duck and Rev said as they already fell to the tiger.
"Guys" Lexi tried to find the sword but its gone.
"Time to die birds" he threw Rev down and kicked Duck into the air. He jumped up and unleashed a barrage of attacks, each punch sounded extremely painful and snapping could be heard from her super hearing.
His last attack knocked Duck to a large building, he hit the wall hard enough to hear more bones break and left a crack on the wall.
Duck fell to the ground, unconscious from the attack.
Rev tried to run away but he couldn't feel his legs, "Lexi-help-"
"Where do you think you're going?" Rev stopped as Devastator grabbed his head and lifted the roadrunner.
He threw Rev up and unleashed the same attack he did on Duck.
Rev hit the wall hard and broke a hole through the concrete.
Lexi watched as her teammates were beaten to death. Only she and Tech were still up.
Lexi tried to brain-blast him but he dodged each attack, like he could predict each one.
When he walked up to her, he didn't try to attack her, instead he stood in front of her, waiting for her to attack.
She decided to attack him as he just stood in front of her, but he caught her kick.
He sighed as he looked at the bunny with a pity expression, "It's not your time yet rabbit."
Lexi didn't know what he meant.
He pushed her away and looked away for a second.
She landed and prepared for an attack.
He looked back at her and smiled, "My turn."
He threw some light punches to knock her back and he unleashed more powerful attacks onto the bunny.
Each punch felt like lead blocks hitting her.
He hit her back to a concrete wall and continued to punch her until the wall broke behind her.
Lexi endured each brutal hit, but she heard bones breaking or snapping from within.
Devastator stopped his attack and watched as the bunny landed face first on the ground.
He smiled as he broke the ground around her, enough to leave a message.
Large chunks hit the ground around her, it hit her limbs but missed anything vital. The rocks crushed her arms and legs mainly, but she doesn't know how bad it was because of the intense pain she's feeling.
Devastator loved seeing this, this was how he felt when she did the same.
"I'll be back" He ran off to where both Tech and Ace left.
"No…" Lexi tried to move but the boulders prevented her to move.
A few minutes later and Devastator came back with Tech and Ace.
"Pity… the coyote didn't put up much of a fight" he held Tech by the neck, it was obvious that he was unconscious.
Ace tried to break free but his wound reopened and he was bleeding badly.
The tiger dropped Ace to the ground and threw the coyote to a wall. He walked over there and broke the wall around him, making a small tomb for the coyote.
"Good night Tech, hopefully you die peacefully." He said laughing.
Lexi thought of a plan but even she thought it was stupid, but with no other plan available, she had to.
She looked at the rocks holding her down; she blasted each one, hitting her arms and legs when she did it.
'UGH' Lexi felt the pain extremely go up as she did this but she had to, for the team.
After she was clear of boulders, she had to get up.
She moved her arms but she the pain was present.
The main problem was that her legs wouldn't respond.
'Come on' she used her arms to push herself up but she leaned onto the rocks for support.
She could see the area around her, the streets and most of the buildings were fine, but there was blood on the ground.
She took a deep breath and attempted to walk.
Devastator smiled as he stepped on Ace's forearm, breaking the bones in it.
"ARGH" Ace yelled out in pain.
"Ace" Lexi could barely say as she took a step closer.
From what it felt like, she knew that her bones were broken in many places; she's surprised that she could stand up and walk.
She walked closer but slipped on some blood and water, she fell back onto the ground.
"HAHAHAHAHAH, it looks like I won" he grabbed Ace's legs and broke the bones.
"ARGH" Ace yelled out in more pain.
"Only a matter of time until I kill you" he pulled out a dagger from his metal and stabbed the bunny in the chest area. He didn't even pull the dagger out, instead he added more pressure to make the stab wound much worse.
"…Ace…" Lexi said, as her vision's getting blurrier by the second.
The tiger grabbed Ace by the neck and lifted him into the air. He turned his good hand into a machete, ready to kill.
"Goodbye" he said in a voice that lacked emotion.
He pulled back the blade and aimed for his neck.
"Please…don't kill him…" she said very quietly.
Her vision was blurry but she seen a black boot step in front of her.
Devastator stopped as he looked back.
Lexi looked up to see a person in a black leather hooded long coat. The person was wearing black colored items like leather gloves, black combat pants, shirt and boots. It didn't show any weapons on it.
It turned its head and kneeled down, examining the bunny.
She looked closer but she couldn't see the face, just darkness.
"Who are you?" the tiger asked the person.
The figure checked on the area around, knowing where each of the Loonatics location.
It stood up and walked towards Devastator.
The tiger looked at the bunny but he just dropped Ace to the ground and faced the masked assailant.
Lexi watched as it pulled out a sword from its sheath and disappeared.
She didn't see what happened next because she closed her eyes and it felt like she fell asleep.
A while later, she didn't see it but it felt like someone picked her up.
"Don't worry Ms. Lexi, you're going to be fine" A male voice called out to her.
'Who are you?' Lexi had no idea what's happening.
What she didn't know was that this is the starting point where it will lead her to finding out a deep, forgotten truth.

It will still have everything it had, but useless sentences will be removed and attempts to make it much more enjoyable, like hidden scenes of different characters.
