"Walter."
"Ngh, what?"
"Get out of bed this moment!"
Walter slowly opened an irritated eye, rolling up to his thin lover.
"What?"
Jasper wore a sour, enraged expression, his body tense and his fingers gripped around the book in his lap. His eyes were glaring at Walter's disgusting form. The knight found it fit to waltz into their living quarters and fall onto their bed, not bothering to consider that the majority of his being was covered in mud that was now soaking into the regal bedding.
"Honestly, do you have no sense of common courtesy?" Jasper rolled his eyes like it was the most natural thing in the world and rolled out of bed, brushing a bit of non-existant dust off his crisp night clothes. He took his book in hand and swatted it against Walter's shoulder.
"Stand down, you crazy maid!" Walter growled, flinching away from the man's wrath. After a few hits, he grumbled and rolled onto his aching feet, his expression resembling a punished dog.
Jasper stood straight in front of his intimidating lover, not at all feigned, and crossed his arms. "Now you are to go bathe this instant and not to return until every speck of mud is down the drain and off your person while I fix the wreck you made." He sighed and turned, carefully removing the crimson bed sheets soiled with earth.
With the butler's back turned, Walter rolled his eyes and exhibited his middle finger, grousing on his way toward the bathroom. "Balls..." He grumbled.
