Alternative storyline.
Time: during the chunin exams, last part
Naruto`s POV
"Hey Shikamaru, should we go tell Kakashi-sensei about Sasuke?" I spoke sternly as a laugh.
"What for? He already knows about Sasuke and that's why he sent us here to search for him?"
"But we still didn`t find him."
"Yeah and how do you think I feel, huh? I have to go on this mission with a fool, a girl and a stupid dog."
Then Sakura hit Shikamaru in the head and said "Cha! You shouldn`t say that!"
"Yeah, we already search outside the leaf village so we should head back to Kakashi-sensei and the others."
"Okay, Naruto, we should head back, but first we should get something to eat."
"Hey, lets go to Itchiraku Ramen!"
Sakura`s POV
"One miso ramen with barbeque pork, please."
"Hey Naruto, I think we should go now."
"But Sakura, I only had three, Shikamaru's only had one and you've only had one too. You should get more."
"Yeah I guest your right, Naruto."
Shikamaru`s POV
"Okay I`m done. We should get going to Kakashi now."
So they went to the chunin exams arena.
"Hey Kakashi-sensei, we haven`t found Sasuke yet."
"All right, you should take a rest."
Kakashi's POV
"Well, you guys worked enough but I should tell you the whole story."
"First of all, you should know that the sand village ambushed us during the exams final round, along with the sound village, in an attempt to kill the 3rd Hokage. Also, you should know that Orochimaru was impersonating the Kazekage and that he and the 3rd are trapped in some kind of Genjutsu made by those sound ninja."
"Well, you should take a rest and we`ll take care of these people."My voice sounded weird.
Naruto`s POV
"No! I will not rest! I will help everyone! Even if it kills me, I will not let down my village! Now, let's go help those people. Believe it!"
