The store clerk grew impatient as he watched shoe boxes constantly flying off their racks.

"She won't like those!" one irritated voice cried.

"They're better than those atrocities in your hand!" another yelled back.

Harry looked at the show box in his hand that contained a vibrant pair of Nike shoes.

"There is nothing wrong with these, she loves bright things." Harry objected.

Harry continued to scale the shoe rack. He then eyed a pair of bright blue Nikes at the top; he began to use the shelves as a ladder to claim the pair. The clerk watched the young man climb the shelf, thinking to himself that he'll have to clean up their mess later.

"Well they look ridiculous" Louis grumbled as he continued to scan the store's selection.

"Can I help you gentlemen with anything?" the store clerk half-heartily asked as he glared at the two young British men.

Louis stepped up to the store clerk and squinted at his name tag and tapped it lightly. The clerk lightly swatted his costumers hand away, as he was already annoyed.

"Sam is it?" Louis asked rhetorically as he straightened his suspenders. "I am buying a pair of shoes for my…" he gulps "-friend. She loves shoes so I wanted to buy a pair, I brought my friend along to help but as you can see he is, well…him" Louis turned to face Harry and sees him climbing the shelf.

"Harry get down from there!" Louis commanded.

Harry whipped his head to look at Louis "No!" he replied harshly.

"You leave me no choice then" Louis quickly snatched the shoes Harry had left unattended on the floor next to his feet and runs to the next isle.

Harry's glares at the spot where the shoes used to be and loudly thumps back onto the floor to pursuit Louis. They run around the store; Louis never losing his grasp of the shoes. Louis nearly tumbles when the clerk finally decides to stop them.

"Are you going to buy the shoes or not" the clerk asked harshly, no longer attempting to hide his annoyance.

"Yes they're perfect" Louis answered promptly and followed the clerk to the checkout counter.

"I thought those were too bright for her?" Harry questioned Louis as he leaned onto the counter.

"Don't be ridiculous she'll love this, especially if they're coming from me" Louis replied with a smile and a wink.
