ELLO! Trying to write somethin' a bit decent, so this is my first go at it! Wish me luck! I rated it M just in case... It's a habit of mine to write smut... So enjoy!
Hatter woke up to the hammering of his own heartbeat, his Sledgehammer clenched in fear, his teeth gritted in rage. He looked around to see his own safe room, and breathed a sigh of relief. He replayed the dream in his head.
"Twinkle, twinkle, little bat!
How I wonder where you're at..."
Hatter flicked out his pocket knife, and started walking toward Time, who had a bloody giant cleaver in his right hand, Mad March's head in the other. Time had set March's stub of a neck inside Hatter's black Fedora, and was holding it like a butler with a wicked grin on his face.
"Up above the world you fly,
Like a tea-tray in the sky..."
At those words, Hatter lunged, and Time swiped, cutting off Hatter's right hand. Hatter winced, trying not to show his agonizing pain. He had the knife in his left hand, luckily, and stabbed Time in the stomach, twisting cruelly as Time dropped both his cleaver and March's head. Hatter whispered,
"Twinkle, twinkle little bat!
How I wonder where you're at!"
"See you at tea-time, Hatter," Time had breathed as the queen was shouting off with Hatter's head. The suits filed in, half grabbing Hatter, who was putting up quite a fight, and the other half were taking away the bodies of Mad March and Time. Hatter finally screamed his screams when they put him in the stretcher to get him a new hand. The queen wanted him in a cell as soon as possible, so Carpenter had to make some... technical adjustments... short-cuts...
Hatter sighed. "Ah, memories." He checked his old watch, always set at Six O'clock. "Oi! It's time to get to the shop!" He jumped out of bed, rushed to the closet and grabbed black slacks and a red paisley shirt. He hopped into his boots, shrugging on his brown leather jacket. He topped it all off with a brown Fedora. He ran to the mirror to get it combed just right, and he thought about his old black hat. He missed it, and he wondered where it was now. "Oh well. Back to business." He strolled out the door, and turned sharply just before falling off the large building. He looked up and saw the Scarab flying by, and he thought he saw something hanging out of one of the oyster barrels... must've been his imagination...
