This is my first (not really, I wrote 3 other KS fics then deleted them promptly lol) KS fic after being a silent reader for several years. Anyway, have fun reading!

"Your fingers are trembling."

Sakura blushed, as she tried hard not to look at the silver-haired man walking beside her. It was a hot, lazy afternoon in Konoha, but the copy-nin thought otherwise as he arrived just outside her window sill, hoping to spar with her. And it was definitely a mistake on her part to keep her blinds open as she was doing that. It was her fault, really, for being so careless and for being so goddamn… hormonal and the weather did not help either. Nonetheless, she was desperately hoping that her reaction time was fast enough that her teammate did not notice what she was exactly doing.

"Oh… um, I got carried away knitting," she bit her lip nervously as they turned around the corner.

"Hm," Kakashi replied as they continued walking through the town, with the surrounding civilians unaware of the red tinge creeping up the pink-haired kunoichi's porcelain face.

After five minutes of more walking, they finally reached the training grounds. Sakura hurriedly opened the gates and went under the shades to start warming up. Kakashi smirked as he knew precisely what Sakura was doing when he leapt up to his teammate's window sill and he actually enjoyed the discomfort she was experiencing. It was really no big deal since Sakura is a grown woman with needs, and he had no right to shame her for it. But it wouldn't hurt to have a bit of fun at her expense, right?

"Actually, I just remembered that I have a meeting with the Hokage. I wouldn't want to be late," Kakashi's only visible eye creased as he turned around and started walking away, leaving the kunoichi a little bit relieved although a bit confused.

'Late? When did he worry about being late?' Sakura pondered as she looked at her teammate, with his back visible to her. As he was walking away, Kakashi stopped, turned around and with a smirk on his lips he said,

"But if you need help with your knitting, I can lend you my helping hand."

With that, he disappeared leaving only puff of smoke and a flabbergasted Sakura behind.

And that's it folks! When I was writing this, it did NOT seem funny to me at all (since I am not really a funny person) but I hoped you guys enjoyed the slight smuff (smut+fluff, yes I am making this a thing)!
