A small brown tabby cat walked forward slowly, a green striped bandana softly swaying on her neck. Her light hazel eyes focused on a dark, shaded forest ahead of her. She looked back behind her, bright sun with the pastel blue house she lived in sitting close by. She gave a warm smile at it remembering how she'd sleep in that house every night ever since she was a tiny kitten. She remembered receiving her bandana as no more than a year old. Her head shook quickly, the memories still flooding her head as she gazed upon the sun for a little longer. She took a deep breath, looked ahead, and started walking.

Slowly she turned back to the shaded forest ahead, her paws trembling. She took a shaky step forward into the unknown, the one thing that scared her most. She forced the fur along her back to lay flat remembering to take slow paw steps forward. She held her breath hearing the wind howling in the distance. Her fur rose in horror, she'd never been far from her house before and it was horrifying. Her pace quickened as the howling of wind continued to ring in her pricked ears.

Her bushy tail lashed, her eyes quickly glancing around her. Her brown pelt now shaded with a dark tint of blue. The littlest amount of sunlight remained on her face, shining brightly into her eyes making them look yellow-green. Ahead of her lay a meadow a gentle, quiet meadow. Her eyes went from terrified to surprisingly calm. The flower littered meadow had a soft orange-yellow tint to it that gave a warm feel. Her eyes, instead of tinted blue, now held a warm orange tint in them. Her smile returned at the sight. Her fur relaxed and her tail went to the soft grass. Ahead a few weeping willow trees were scattered, shaded only a little underneath their hanging leaves. She slowly padded forward her tail still brushing against the grass.

She found moss near the tree. She grabbed some, enough to make a nest. She went under the tree, the warm glow outside still in sight. Her white paws quickly made a nest from the soft moss she'd found nearby. She smiled at her creation of a bed. She laid in the nest, her shoulders relaxing and her gaze became less fearful. She took the time to look at her surrounding, varieties of flowers were littered around the large meadow. She found a few that blew away when the wind blew and scattered into what felt like millions of tufts. "Dandelions…" the small she-cat mewed softly as the dandelion tufts blew away in the wind. Slowly, her eyes grew heavy as she fell asleep in the beautiful meadow she wanted to call home.
