The Legend of Zelda: the Child of Twilight

Intro:

Many know the legend of Zelda, and of her champion and the Hero of Time, Link. Many know of how he repeatedly delivered Hyrule from the threat of Ganondorf, and of Ganon and many other evil doers time and again. Many know of the fact that he has traversed the Sacred Realm not once, but several times in his quests.

Many know of his legacy.

Few have been part of it.

Only one has inherited it.

Or will inherit it.

The Twilight Princess was only a fraction of the story. This in and of itself is not common, as time has the inexplicable power to twist truth into fantastic legend, quick-thinking people into valiant heroes, and manipulated victims into harsh unforgiving villains.

Yes, time has this power, and it seems that even the Hero of Time is not immune to its historic transmogrifying prowess. But perhaps this is not all as bad as it seems, for in twisting the truth, time masks greater danger or even greater harm. It seems that though the truth sets you free, that freedom also includes learning what you would be better off without.

This is not the point at the current time.

Most of you do not know the real me, and for your sake, I hope to god, Odin, or whoever or whatever you believe in that this remains the same. I am not who you think I am.

My name is Nickolai Odin Erepidus Fowl, and I'm what you might call a fact finder. Thanks to the power of something I discovered called the WordGate, I have been able to travel into the realm of 'fiction' and see life behind the scenes as it really goes on. No restriction, no excuses.

Let me tell you one thing for certain: we are blind. Well, to be really brutally honest YOU all are blind, the WordGate opened my eyes and gave me sight to the real world that we do not see, and I will sum it using the words of my good friend Winnie the Poo, children should leave at this point, this is not for anyone under 15.

"Life's like honey; it tastes sweet until you find out its damned bee vomit."

I couldn't have said better myself.

So, seeing all the dark things that go one behind the scenes, I decided to be a sort of trans-dimensional investigative reporter, to bring the truth to the people. Whether you read it or shit on it is your choice, I just collected the facts.

Easier said than done, but that's neither here nor there. So, using a combination of persuasion, violence, bribery, circumventing law, and a number of other things that would probably leave me in jail until I could braid a rope with my hair, I put together and now present to you one of several different investigations I cobbled together into story format so that it would be easier to publish. All the facts are straight as an arrow, and my sources will be placed as the last chapter.

Now, allow me to present to you, the public, with the first of what I call the Nicki Fowl Fiction Files.
