Just a quick drabble I did for some of the Omake Competitions on The Fanfiction Forum.
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto as it belongs to Masashi Kishimoto. Not making any money here.
Unforgivable

"Seriously, just which part of 'NO' didn't you get!?" Uzumaki Kushina shouted, blocking the exit from inside their home. She wouldn't allow her husband to leave. Not when he was in one these moods.
He made a mistake.
One error ended up costing him everything.
The Shiki Fuujin wasn't a simple seal. He knew that. He knew its complexities like the back of his hand.
Seal the Bijuu into his son. His son lives. His wife lives. The villagers live.
Only he was supposed to die.
But the technique didn't go as planned.
One mistake. One simple mistake and everything around him collapsed. His pride and joy shattered along with the results of the Shiki Fuujin.
Nearly everyone else believed his plan a success. It wasn't their fault; his blunder with the seal totally destroyed the Kyuubi.
But it took his son with it.
"Kushina, stand aside! I don't like this any more than you do, but I can fix this! I have to!" Since the infamous October tenth, Namikaze Minato became a changed man.
He spent every free moment studying kinjutsu. The effects of Edo Tensei fascinated him the most. It was what he needed to make things right. To rectify his mistake.
No matter how many times his wife said otherwise, he murdered Naruto.
Kushina really was a great person. Anyone else would've given up on him. Would've let him walk out the door to find that snake. He always was a genius, but Minato's newfound impatience demanded results. He constantly debated with himself about accomplishing his objective.
On one hand, he could stay in the village, taking his time to find a way that didn't involve a sacrifice. A way that didn't require him abandoning all morals and working with an evil, manipulative psychopath who wouldn't hesitate in taking advantage of the Yellow Flash's power. On the other hand, if they worked together…
Whenever his inner struggles believed seeking the S-ranked criminal was the best course of action, Uzumaki Kushina never failed to prevent his departure.
Only she could do it. Anyone else would receive a backhand sending them all the way to next Sunday.
"No you don't! And stop blaming yourself god damn it; it's not your fault!" She wrapped her arms around his neck, sobbing on his chest. These arguments were no stranger to her. She nearly died inside after every occasion.
A few minutes later, Kushina felt her husband calming down as he returned the embrace. She couldn't prevent smiling. She succeeded. Losing her son was agonizing enough, but she had to remain strong.
For Minato's sake.
If he left to bargain with that traitorous bastard, Kushina knew that she would break. She was already so close.
All she could do now was continue stopping him and hope it wouldn't last forever.
