Danny woke up to Sam and Tucker shaking his shoulders. "Danny, wake up. It's Halloween," Sam said. Danny sat up in his bed and grinned.
"Well I guess I have to change into my costume," Danny said, transforming into Danny Phantom. "Let's go to school. Oh yeah, where are your costumes?"
"We're wearing them…" Tucker said, and Danny blinked as he finally noticed that Sam and Tucker were both wearing Danny Phantom costumes. "Duh. You must be tired."
"Yeah, I am," Danny said. "I hope there aren't any ghost attacks today. It's Halloween!" Suddenly Maddie and Jack ran into the room.
"Freeze, ghosts!" Jack yelled, and Danny froze in fear of being caught. But then he remembered it was Halloween and laughed.
"Dad, it's me, Danny. This is my costume," he said, then pointed to Sam and Tucker. "See, they're dressed up like Phantom, too."
"Okay, sweetie, have fun at school," Maddie said, and they both left. Jazz came into the room wearing a Danny Phantom outfit, too.
"Is everybody going to be me today?" Danny asked, rolling his eyes. He took off into the sky with Sam, Tucker, and Jazz and went to school, where he noticed that everybody was dressed up like Danny Phantom. "This is so weird. Oh well, let's get to class."
A hand rested on Danny's shoulder and he turned to see Valerie, dressed up as… Danny Phantom! What a surprise! "Hey Danny, neat costume. But mine is cooler. Watch this." Danny's eyes widened in alarm as two rings formed around her waist and transformed her back to her normal self. "Cool, huh?" Danny laughed nervously.
"Yeah, uh huh," he said, then turned around.
"Check it out," Paulina said, turning like a model as she transformed into herself from her Danny Phantom costume. "I can do the same thing," Dash said, mirroring the transformation. "It's a way to prove that you're not the ghost kid running around pretending to be in a costume. The people made it this way." Danny began to freak out, then realized something. He could play along as well.
"Hey, watch me!" Danny said, then closed his eyes, but nothing happened. Everybody gasped, including Danny. "What? Why isn't it working?" Valerie and some other kids surrounded Danny.
"Because you're the ghost boy," Valerie said, and soon the whole school was surrounding him. Danny fell to the ground and screamed. "You're the ghost boy," everybody chanted. "You're the ghost boy… you're the ghost boy… you're the ghost boy…"
Danny yelped and sat up in his bed, a cold sweat across his forehead. He sighed in relief when he figured out that it was only a bad dream. "Hey Danny, I'm glad you're up. Today's Halloween, you know," Sam's voice said. Danny smiled and turned to Sam.
"Yeah, I know today is… Hal… lo… ween…" He trailed off as he noticed that Sam, Tucker, and Jazz were in the room, all of them dressed as Danny Phantom. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" he screamed, ducking back under the covers and panting heavily. "It has to be another nightmare. Just like in the cartoons. Right?"
Danny's eyes snapped open and he looked around. "Sam? Tuck?" He sighed when he realized that they weren't there. "Good, I'm really awake."
"Finally," a voice said, and Danny suddenly realized that he was strapped to a cot. He turned to see one of the Guys in White standing there with a needle and a grin on his face. "You need to be awake for the blood test."
Danny gasped in alarm and woke up. "I swear if I'm not awake…" he said. He looked around and saw that his room was filled with balloons. "Forget it," he said, and laid back down, closing his eyes and going back to sleep. Sam and Tucker peeked out of the closet and shrugged their shoulders.
"I guess he forgot that today was his birthday," Sam said.
Well, that's it. I hope it didn't suck too bad…
