Glory of Heracles
Neopolis: In Town

Leucos looked at the pile of rubble at her feet. She sighed

'Ink, where did you go?' she thought to herself

"Um... excuse me... I'm looking for someone" a young woman with dark red hair stuttered

Leucos giggled "Huh? Sorry, I'm the only one here"

The woman looked around "Oh, I guess you're right. Thanks anyway" she turned and started to walk away

Leucos gripped the woman's arm "Who are you looking for?" she asked

"Huh? Oh, his name is Ink"

"...!" Leucos's eyes widened

"We used to live on the same little island together" The woman scratched the back of her head

Leucos looked the woman in the eyes "Was he... your boyfriend?" Leucos had to know!

The young woman gasped "Not exactly... I mean, I would of liked that, but we were just kids after all"

Leucos seethed "Why are you looking for him?"

The woman looked at the ground "You probably won't believe me, but... he flew away" tears gathered in the woman's eyes

"Flew away?" Leucos gasped

The woman nodded a little "Yes, he strapped a pair of wings to his back and leapt from the tallest cliff on the island... and he flew" Tears fell down her rosy red checks

"Why would he do something like that...? Leucos glared at the tattered ground

"You see, his father was always busy... He was a scholar or inventor or something. So he and his mother came to the island. But his mother... she got terribly ill and passed away... After that, all he ever talked about was... how much he missed his dear father." the woman sobbed loudly

Leucos gasped "And then... he flew away?" she asked

"Y-yes. I watched h-him go until I lost him i-in the s-sun"

"Unbelievable!" Leucos shouted

The woman laughed alittle" I-I know"

Leucos looked at the sky "I'll bet he managed to see his father, in the end. He may of had a rough landing. He may of gotten hurt..." Leucos grinned broadly "But I think his father tried his best... and did everything he could... and helped fix him up"

The woman cocked her head to the side "...?"

Leucos noticed this and waved her hands in front of her "At least that's what I think might of happened" she giggled loudly

The woman nodded "I think you might see him again someday, too" Leucus looked at the sky once more

The young woman looked up to "I hope so. I miss his Flute playing"

Leucos looked at the woman "Oh? was he good?"

The woman burst into laughter "No. Not at all"

Off in the distance, what they didn't notice was a young boy. He had dark brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. He wore silver armor and a dark red cape.

He pulled out a rusty flute and began to play. It was a high pitched screech and The woman and Leucos turned to see what it was.

"Ink..." whispered Leucos

He put the Flute down, shrugged, and began to play once more.

It was a softer tone. Still not good, but better.

Above him in the bright sky was Zeus and Astraea stood

"What are you going to do with him?" Astraea complained

Zeus chuckled "That's a good question. He has done a good job as a marionette. Maybe I'll let him play the flute for a little longer. He might just get better " both Astraea and Zeus faded into the clouds...
