Roll The Credits
Mickie//John
Mickie was walking around the arena, having some time to herself. Thinking about what had transpired the month before.
Flashback
"I'm sorry John, I just need some time to think." The bubbly brunette said.
"What are you trying to say Micks?" John asked.
"I'm saying I need some space. Everything has been moving too fast, and I don't think I can handle it, at least not right now." Responded the diva.
"Mickie, if you want we can take this relationship slower." The former WWE Champion told the petite brunette.
"I'm sorry, I really am. I just can't..." Mickie looked away. She could literally hear his heart breaking into a million pieces. It hurt her very much to do this, but she had to.
"I'm sorry." She whispered. Mickie kissed John on the cheek, turned around, and walked down the long hallway.
John was left there watching her walk away, from their relationship, and everything they had been through.
End of flashback
That day, was like someone had literally stabbed her in the back, that was how much it hurt her to break John's heart. There was nothing she could do to get him back, he had already moved on. He was dating Kelly. She was now his girlfriend, and Mickie hated seeing them together. When she found out about them, yeah, she was hurt that he had moved on, but she was even more hurt because, even though, Kelly wasn't really one of her best friends, they were still friends, and she didn't even tell her, Mickie had to find out about them through rumours. She was happy for them, even though it didn't seem like it.
Mickie had thought about her situation with John, and to her it was no different than a movie. She was the lead actress, John was the lead actor. Everything was supposed to be perfect. Along the way something happened, and the producers thought that Mickie didn't have what it took to play that role. They held auditions and somehow Kelly was now the leading lady of John's heart.
"I guess, all stories don't have happy endings." The spunky brunette sighed, and noticed a tear rolling down her cheek. She wiped it, and hoped she wouldn't start crying.
Mickie made her way to the locker room to get ready for her match with Gail Kim.
"Hey Micks." Gail greeted Mickie as she came into the locker room.
"Oh no, Mickie. Have you been crying again?" Gail asked Mickie.
"I know what you're going to say, I just can't help it. I let a great guy go 'cause of my insecurities." Mickie sniffled.
"I know hunny, and you're right, but he's not worth it anymore. You haven't been happy ever since that break up, and it upsets me that you aren't taking it lightly."
"How can I not take it lightly?! He moved on, and I'm stuck regretting my decision to break up with him!"
Mickie watched as Gail stayed quiet. Then sighed.
"I'm sorry, Gail. I'm just still mad that he's dating her, when that's supposed to be me." The bubbly brunette gave the Canadian diva an apologetic smile.
"It's okay, girly. I forgive you." Gail smiled.
"How about we get ready for our match, 'cause I know for sure I'm ready to kick some diva ass!" The Canadian diva said trying to lighten the mood.
"Alright." Both divas laughed, and continued with their weekly routine.
Even though Mickie was still upset, she decided that she shouldn't be moping around.
A/N: I know this isn't a very good one shot, but hey, cut me some slack it's my first.
