Sesshoumaru stared down at the body of the girl that followed his brother this past year. He turned to leave her still form. A pulse from the sleeping sword at his side stopped him, drawing his hand to it.
"Tenseiga…" Citrine eyes turned to InuYasha who stared with a broken heart at the young woman. Another pulse. His fingers wrapped around the hilt, drawing it.
"Stand aside, half-breed." The silver inu stepped to her side.
The slayer halted InuYasha's forward step with two words. "Have faith."
The hanyou stood undecided before stepping back, ears pinned, and let his brother forward.
