Yohey. Look, a one-shot drabble of angst. FEEL IT.

Anyway. Idea + avoiding homework this drabble. So read and enjoy, flames readily accepted, but I may not respond to them, 'kk?

Oh, and this was written after listening to 'I Never Told You What I Do For A Living' by My Chemical Romance 36 times in a row (It says on my iTunes playcount!). So yeah, hence the title.

READ YOU FOOLS.

---------------------------------------------------

"I'll give you something you'll never forget!"

You turn to him as he shouts that, trying to keep yourself composed as you realize, as the fact really sinks in, that he's trying to kill you, and you're trying to kill him.

But as you stare at his expression as he yells that cry, you see something mingled in with the murderous, fiery rage.

Pain.

Hurt.

Loss of hope.

And you're registering this, not even restraining the tears anymore as you jump out of the way of another rain of flames.

And as he drags along the ground with his fist full of fire, those tears you're crying dissolve to steam and he watches, and you watch, as that steam again becomes nothing.

And finally you turn back to him, you see his own tears disappearing into grey wisps as soon as they hit his cheeks.

Funny how so much emotion can hit you after supposedly having none at all.

And he finishes with that one line, like you knew he would, that pain never once leaving his face, even as he prepares another wave of flame.

"Got it memorized?!"
