This is a song fic so yeah!! Its to the song "Lets Hear It For The Boy" If you don't know the song, watch the movie "Footloose." It's a really good movie but yeah!! Anyway I don't own anyone!! This is Evie's thoughts on Steve so yeah.
I sat up in my room, at my desk, trying hard not to cry. My dad was trying to tell me that I had to break up with Steve, because he wasn't good enough for me. I just felt like saying, "Fuck you Dad." Nevertheless, I wasn't going to say that. I would just leave instead.
Maybe I'd go live with Steve. He'd let me stay with him. Or maybe I could stay with Sandy, or the Curtises. Anyone would be better then my dad.
I grabbed my bag and started throwing clothes in it and then I threw my make up in it. There was one thing I was looking for and I felt a tear come to my eye when I ran my finger across it. It was a blue silk shirt that Steve had bought me. He had to have used all his money to buy it and for me. And here my dad was thinking that he wasn't good enough for me. If its not good enough when a boy uses all his money on you, then what is good enough?
The door downstairs slammed, that meant my dad was home. I threw the shirt in the bag and pulled a piece of paper out from underneath my bed. I would just leave him a note.
~Dad~ (A/N: This is where the song starts.)
My baby, he don't talk sweet.
He ain't got much to say
But he loves me, loves me, loves me
I know that he loves me anyway
And maybe he don't dress fine
But I don't really mind
Cuz' everytime he pulls me near
I just wanna cheer:
Let's hear it for the boy!
Oh lets give the boy a hand.
Lets hear it for my baby.
Ya know, you gotta understand
Maybe he's no Romeo
But he's my loving one-man show
Lets hear it for the boy!
My baby may not be rich
He's watching every dime
But he loves me, loves me, loves me
And we always have a real good time
And maybe he sings off key
That's alright by me
But what he does he does so well
Makes me wanna yell:
Lets hear it for the boy!
Oh lets give the boy a hand
Lets hear it for my baby
Ya know, you gotta understand
Maybe he's no Romeo
But he's my loving one man show
Lets hear it for the boy!
Oh lets hear it for my baby
Lets hear it for the boy
Lets hear it for the boy! (A/N: This is where the song ends!)
Dad, I know you don't like Steve but that's to bad.
~Bye~
Evie
I grabbed my bag and walked downstairs. As soon as I stepped off the step and into the living room my dad looked me straight in the eye so I hurled the letter at him and walked out the door, slamming it behind me. So much for a graceful exit!
A/N~ I know that sucked really bad and Ill probably take it down but that's ok!! Sorry it was so short anyway! Bye and plz review!
