The Riddler could feel his head crushing into his brain as is attacker threw another kick into his skull, making him roll on his back. He was only six inches away from the edge of the building, the rain making the ground slick and his clothes cling to him. H barley breathed under the shadow of the man.
He's fond of the man who stands before him. He's worthy. Not stupid and worthless like the rest of the world. The stupid. What a waste to make gods image with an IQ of 75. They're all retards, but not him….he's perfect. Such Perfectness is not a waste…it's a gift. So he wanted this man's time. His attention.
All though Riddler never thought he would ever be this rough. He felt nothing under his feet as the man held him over the edge of the building. His Jacket somehow supported his weight. He secretly prayed his jacket wouldn't fail him, and send him plummeting down a 40-story death.
He knew he could count on the man holding him. He would never commit murder. He has too many people looking up to him…as if he were a god. They hoped for humanity, in something so dark. It hard to even call the bat a man due to his pointy ears, the two white holes in his mask, unblinking, staring. His cape…always upholding its place even when it is tattered in mud, holes and such.
Tonight, the tone in the bats demeanor and voice implied impatience, restlessness, and death. Riddler shrugged it off, knowing too much about the batman to ever take it seriously.
As the rain made nothing clear in Riddler's eyesight, the bat started to glare into is soul. Then e took out a blue microchip and held it in front of Edwards face. The chip produced a blue scan an preformed the scan on his body. When complete, the batman let go of is form for a second, letting Riddler fall a good three inches from his tie, chocking him in the process. Edwards hand searched desperately under his tie to preserve his life, denying the cloth to squeeze his neck.
"You wouldn't." He said
Rddler's eyes stared into the bats features, searching for an indication of his old self. He found none. He's certain that Batman came here to kill him tonight. Dread filled his chest, and his feet attempted to find some foreground.
"I would." That was all that came from batman 's mouth before his hand relaxed and carelessly let Riddler drop.
